It's like when you go into Tiffany and they offer you champagne except not. It's more old-timey. Somehow humble and high brow at the same time. I don't know what to make of this. I love it. It's just perplexing. I've never been a huge hat guy. Got a couple of good cowboy hats but no fedoras or anything like that. Is this a thing? I'm a little taken aback which is pretty rare for me.

I know not of highfalutin society but down here the only place i know that a man can get some free soup and if he's lucky a worn hat is the soup kitchen.Which i might be paying a visit tomorrow if the Rays can't tally some runs.

I was channeling and fine haberdashery shop where they'll serve you a nice clam chowder or a bisque on a chilly New England day.

Yes, a light dry snow falling, full length wool coat with two flasks neatly tucked away.One for you and the other for offering a snort.I would prefer this genteel setting over lets say a dusty dry saloon or tavern serving warm beer and Old Panther rye for a nickel and being consumed by loaded heathens packing guns and knives.

Stu, I actually own over 20 Kangol hats, except for the really weird designs I own about every Kangol 507 they have ever made. I have all my hair, but I just love hats. Kangol 507s and New Era 59fiftys. Have quite the collection of both, it's my thing. They do not give me soup with my purchases, but those fuckers should considering the amount of money I have given both companies over the years.
My statement about the soup was just a Caddyshack joke. Rodney Dangerfield makes fun of Judge Smails' hat when they are in the pro shop. A bowl of soup is part of the joke. One of the best comedic scenes in history, especially when Rodney rolls his eyes. Can't not laugh at it.
