It is a good question actually    and I assume they do get paid but not as much as the editors or the guys who update the stats section or sort out other technical issues within the forum

here's my estimated salaries for the various mods  

1. Lippsman $50k  + stock in his prefered NASDAQ tech companies   

2. Weeble $50k + Leafs season tickets  

3. Superbeets  $40k  + a new Ford F150 every 2 years

4. allbees  $38k  + acres of ranch land in South Dakota

5. KOAJ   $35k  +Jets season tickets, best seats in the house

6. djbrow $30k + Packers season tickets (he was offered Viking season tickets but he refuses to support such a crap team) 

7.wallstreet  zip,zilch,nada   works for tips
