Anyone else think this whole Duke run to the final four is a bit too predetermined? Look, I love a great sports story, I really do. Always have, and this story with Coach K going out like this in his final tourney is a truly awesome story. I'm actually rooting for Duke now because this is such a great story and Coach K is such a Legendary Coach.
However, my conspiracy theory mind has me wondering how much of this is controlled. I just can't help but think this run is a little . . . . what's the word here? . . .
"controlled"? Ratings and money related? Sketchy? Thoughts?

You are on the wrong forum for that talk... People on here didnt say a word when the Lakers won the title in 2020 after Kobe died... And this forum didnt say a word about 2016 when you had the Cavs 3 - 1 comeback followed by the Cubs 3 - 1 comeback followed by the Pats 25 point comeback... No matter how many insane comebacks there is or feel good stories, this forum will believe they are all real... Duke could win the title this year and barely anyone will say it was scripted

@cny_rookie 10 High school all American's, 4 that will be drafted in the top 10, how hard is that to be a winning coach?
I'll start my reply to this by saying I know this team inside and out, I've been a die hard duke fan since I was 5 years old, I fell in love with them the first time I watched them play in 90' while watching with my dad who raised me on sports, (he pitched for the pirates back in the day and played basketball through college so it's in the genes) this Duke team is as talented as anyone left, just not as mature, although I love the talent and potential of those team, if 4 of them get drafted in the top 10, you can bet the next thing yo happen will be a couple nba GM's losing their jobs after the draft... pb is a lock, but after that they have no can't miss prospects, not only should roach not go top 10, he shouldn't even declare for the draft, he needs to return to school. I will add 1k to Eddie's $100 because not only should 4 not go in the top 10, but their shouldn't be 4 players drafted from Duke this year in the draft PERIOD. PB is a top pick lock, it's him and only him in that category.
