There have been some comments here, and in other threads by several other people, how anyone with a brain would know that the Texas case was a joke. It was not a joke. It was, in fact, a horrible failure for SCOTUS to conclude the case did not have standing via a 7-2 vote. The fact that Thomas and Alito said it did have standing, makes said comments from some of the members here look rather ridiculous.
Our other 7 justices clearly chose to avoid sending our country into a civil war, but they have failed the country in the process. I understand that we are all humans and we all possess bias. The judges had bias. They saw how our cities were burned and looted. FOR MONTHS. Then they saw our country boarded up in anticipation of trouble post election day. That trouble never came. The judges, pure and simple (minus Thomas & Alito), allowed their bias of wanting to save our cities to influence their decision. Funny thing, I don't necessarily blame them for that bias. That said, they have damaged our country and its constitution FOREVER.
I am not concerned with what anybody thinks on this subject because I now understand that I now live in a country where the constitution doesn't matter. That makes it a sad day for everyone reading this. There are no exceptions to that.

the constitution isn't very clear of the Supreme Court only that one exists with a chief of judges position. Everything else is policy and precedence.
Mostly what is argued at that level is of constitutional law.
Lawyers wait sometimes there entire lives their careers with the dream of arguing their case before this group of magistrates.
The Texas law suit is a mockery of law. And the concepts that a state can now dictate that another state is not obeying their states laws is equally appalling.
This was poorly put together breaks all traditional norms established over hundreds of years and transition the court standards .
The courts aren't a soap box for public opinion except the opinion of the court. It is created to address constitutional standards within laws if the district and appellant courts can not give remedy to a claim and they take very few cases within a calender year.
Trump was not realistic when he thought he stacked the court with friends he felt he could trust when time was needed. He was wrong. Our democracy fundamental back bone is the justice system but in these days that does not seem realistic when everything now is just political theater we cab be reminded that some form of consistency exist if now where else I am certain Chief Justice Roberts will guide policy based on presented principals not in political Alliance.

1-51 win-loss record in courts easily proves Trump's lawsuits are a joke. They are really political stunts to keep fundraising going. In American system of checks and balances, judicial branch works to save US from corrupted executive branch and senate. The fact that Thomas and Alito said it did have standing, makes said comments from some of the members here look rather ridiculous. Our other 7 justices clearly chose to avoid sending our country into a civil war, but they have failed the country in the process. I understand that we are all humans and we all possess bias. The judges had bias. They saw how our cities were burned and looted. FOR MONTHS. Then they saw our country boarded up in anticipation of trouble post election day. That trouble never came. The judges, pure and simple (minus Thomas & Alito), allowed their bias of wanting to save our cities to influence their decision. Funny thing, I don't necessarily blame them for that bias. That said, they have damaged our country and its constitution FOREVER. I am not concerned with what anybody thinks on this subject because I now understand that I now live in a country where the constitution doesn't matter. That makes it a sad day for everyone reading this. There are no exceptions to that.
This bears repeating. It seems as if most of the left is lost in their hatred of Trump. I am looking forward to the laughing cartoon responses as opposed to critical thinking.
