Had a guy making fun of me this morning because I’m not getting any box

Well first of all I wonder if you really are in any position to be mocking someone when your significant other is 90lbs over weight and took a nasty beat down from the ugly stick. I could get that kind of box easy, but I’m not that desperate. Also the 2+ years I had the live in box, you would have thought I had the largest gambling problem in the history of the man kind. I was talking to my buddy that just got a six figure job and he is all excited because in can play cards again at full tilt. I ask him how much his wife is letting him put in there and he says $50. LOL, I would rather play with play money. In my opinion this box thing is not all that is cracked up to be.

I question how good this Sky offense really is. The offense rates high with the third best FG% offense in the league. However if we throw out the two games against the leagues worst defense (Atlanta) the FG% offense drops all the way down to 11th in the league. The Sparks have the 2nd best defense in the league and have held 7/8 opponents to >40% FG. The Sparks game totals are averaging 150.1 regulation points per game through nine games. In these nine games five have come against the leagues most up-tempo teams (Phoenix 2X, Connecticut, Detroit, Atlanta). Throw out these games and Sparks game totals have averaged 134.3 total regulation points.

This will be only the Sky’s third road game and I really don’t believe that they will have much success against the Sparks defense as they only shot 33% from the field in the previous game with the Sparks and that was with a healthy Fowells. The Sky are the 2nd slowest paced team in the league and rarely play games exceeding a combined pace of 150. The Sparks have showed that when not playing the leagues up-tempo teams they play these slower paced teams around 150 total possessions. The pace in the previous game was a shade under 150 and no reason to think this one won’t as well.

The Sky defense this season has been pretty good with the 5th ranked defense that is only allowing 71 ppg. Despite the Sparks having probably the two best players in the league they still are only 6th in the league in offensive FG%.

The previous game had a posted total of 148. This total is 1.5 points higher and the Sky is with out their best player. I realize that this game came out on Pinnacle with a total of 154 and has moved 4.5 points but I don’t care because it still is way too high. I wanted to get this one out a little early because with a full day before game time the lines have significantly moved against me in the past.

I would think the same thing if the chick to my left was my dreamgal.....

keep the attitude - box ain't that important.....BUT - the game is - stay in the game.... practice, even on the old or ugly ones. men that convince themselves box ain't all that get more box, and better box.
