Today is World Cotton Day. It was started as a partnership by 4 cotton producing countries in Africa (Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad, and Mali) to bring awareness to the economic impact of the cotton industry in Africa. Byproducts of cotton production are used to make animal feed, cosmetics and fuel, with almost none of the crop wasted. In the US, about 850 pounds of cotton can be produced per acre. The US is the 3rd largest producer of cotton in the world, behind China and India.
What does this have to do with sports? Well, Texas grows about 40% of the cotton produced in the USA. And this weekend is the Red River Shootout, which will be played at the Cotton Bowl. And for the first time in a long time, neither Texas nor Oklahoma is a ranked team heading into the game. And as a Clemson fan, I'd like to see Venables quit and come back here as DC - he's not cut out to be a head coach and we need him back on our sideline.
God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy.

Hence me saying, HOPEFULLY it was not intended that way. I don't know his history. Have not read many of his post. I do read yours and respect you very much. Thanks for the heads up
@Hugh_Jorgan
You are correct. That act is beyond old. "Mr Look At Me 24/7". DJ even alluded to that point in his post
He likes to twist everything people say in his desperation for attention.
Some of you need to read AND comprehend. If it is intended badly, screw the guy and it IS unacceptable. I said the day he pointed out really is today and said
Hopefully he is not intending negative vibes.
Histrionic personality disorder. It's sad

I guess he could be well intentioned by mentioning Cotton day just after the only other national day he mentioned was gorilla day.

Today is actually National Frappe Day and unless it originated in Niger,Africa the Line-up of Butt-sniffers in the Box won't get their panties bunched up like a Bronco tightend on 4th and goal.

I just think you are a worthless person. My bigger issue is you think both this thread and gorilla day one are clever.
