HOW ABOUT A SPLIT DOG BET.  IF I HIT BOTH< GREAT...IF HIT 1, I WIN MONEY...HAVE TO LOSE BOTH TO LOSE ALL.

NATS - Because the whole world is on Sandy to avoid the sweep..Brooms all over early today.

CUBS - Because Nobody in there right mind would bet on them.  Sometimes that what it takes to win when you GAMBLE.

These are great posts...

You cannot chase with the damn Cubbies. 1-9 last 10 first game of the series.  They hit lefties well and do great against the west, but there is no way you can make the Cubbies a single play.

I agree with most people that Pads and Rangers are the two best bets left on the board right now.   FWIW, if I was chasing, I would not go RL if you decide on Texas.  You would really feel like shit if you get a win and it is only by one run.

I dont help  people very often on this site cause there is too much negativity...but you seem like a good kid in a bad situation

Take the Toronto Blue Jays for every dime you have left...after you hit play smart...money management is the key to this game

You're right..Bad situation.  I also have a wife and daughter to think about.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't ever bet on the Cubs, ESPECIALLY when you're as desperate as it seems now.  My best advice would be to take a step back, do some money management and decide if you can even afford to risk any money tonight.  If not, which is what it sounds like, DON'T BET.

In any case, it sounds like you're pretty committed to betting on something so I'll say also don't risk it on the Padres, I think the Nats are going to surprise and upset a lot of people tonight.  There are better plays out there....

I have to agree, while I don't recommend putting it all on 1 game, I would also play the PADRES tonight.
