his life isn't over, in USA (and many other places) you can drink and drive, kill someone, and be back to your life in a few years max...sad but true

"Stupid is as stupid does." Dam shame he killed somebody, condolences to their family

From the looks of his crushed corvette, he's lucky to be alive. The driver of the RAV4 wasn't so lucky.

That's terrible. Gonna have to live with that knowing he has killed a person for the rest of his life...

 Henry Ruggs life or career is not over, however, DK is right, Ruggs will have to live with this the rest of his life. 

For the people who are saying his career and life are over, please google Donte Stallworth. Stallworth ran someone over with his car, pleaded guilty, got 30 days in jail, got to keep playing football.

 Just read the story. Not to defend Stallworth but he hit a guy who darted out in front of him outside the crosswalk to catch a bus across the street and it's likely anyone driving, under the influence or not, he blew a .126 so "buzzed" but not hammered, would have hit and killed the fellow. That being said 30 days was truly a slap in the face to the victims family. Need more details about Ruggs, I suspect his circumstances may be worse than Stallworths were.

Bruce Jenner killed a lady with his car.  Now he wins awards.

His life is not over...But his NFL career is over...All his money he made so far will be going to lawyers and the Victims family.. With great lawyers and a plea bargain..He probably serves 5-7 years...Gets out by 30 and starts a new life as he is only 22..

It's the NFL he'll play for 10 yrs and have his jersey retired and be honored. 

      Must be that "privilege".

That's not sad. You're whole life doesn't need taken after anything. 

Assuming this incident is even real.

But even if you kill someone, there's a million reasons why. It's pretty simplistic to just throw away the key or ostracize for ever

Doubt much will happen to him, this piece of shit did pretty much the same thing less than a year ago. High as can be doing 88 in a 35 and killed some poor guy. They reduced his charges to reckless driving and the only thing that happened was he got kicked off the UNLV basketball team.

There are alot of dumbass drivers in Vegas. A couple hours ago, one car on incoming lane was stopped at a red light for awhile and all of a sudden decided to go when my left turn signal went green. Went almost halfway thru the intersection and close to hitting that asshole if I had hit that pedal one second faster. same road that Ruggs had his accident but only a few more blocks away. Stay away from Rainbow today fellas ...
