I read in an interview with one of the creators and he said, if you look closely at the scenes when the Group is on the highway, all of the dead bodies have trauma to their head.
This was foreshadowing that everyone turns into a Walker unless they are killed in the brain.

the only thing epic about this show is how it fails. i like how it only takes these fucking idiots 2 seasons to realize they need to get a place and fortify it and stockpile some supplies. they couldnt really be that stupid to think a tiny fence would keep anything out. i mean really how hard would it have been to grab a dozer and dig a moat around the farm. and not once did i see anyone go out on a recon mission to hoard supplies. they leave that farm all the time but never do they come back with a truckload of food/gas or guns and ammo, but i guess there wouldnt even be a show if anyone in that group had half a fucking brain or used a little bit of common sense

wow youre so smart. i forgot that when the people turned into the walking dead that bulldozers and all the rest of the heavy machinery ceased to exist. there is absolutely no way that that stuff would just be lying around waiting for someone to take it. and what rocket scientist other than you would try to dig a trench around 10 acres? all you would need to do is dig around the buildings. and they obviously didnt have all the supplies they needed otherwise they wouldnt have been running into town every other episode to grab medical shit. like i said if there was any realism about this show then there wouldnt be a show. it would take one trip to find a dozer or two and fortify the farm, one trip to recon as much food and medical supplies as they could fit in 4 or 5 trucks, and one more for stockpiling as many weapons and ammo as they can conceivably use in a lifetime of shooting walkers and one to grab fuel, but gas goes bad after a year anyway so that doesnt matter as much. instead they wrote a soap opera so guys like you would watch and think its epic watching these fucktards bumble and stumble around aimlessly doing everything they possibly can to either die at the hands of their group or the walkers. there is nothing believable or epic at all about this show
