This is a tough game to cap.
Vegas didn't build all those fancy casinos by making the wrong team favored.

Cmon man this is the easiest game to cap. The answer is right in front of your nose. Vegas set the line this way tonight to make you think the Chargers are the better team. This is far from the truth.

Expert -- how often does a 5-0 team go on the road and catch points from a drastically underachieving 2-2 squad?

Your Spidey Senses should be tingling on this one. It's way too easy to take Denver and the points in this situation, IMO

The way I look at this game is like this. 1) People are still not sure whether the Broncos are for real. Especially on the road! 2) People think San Diego will come out of this funk just like they did last year. 3) People remember the beatdown Denver caught at the Q last year.4) The line is set up to make San Diego look like the better team.

My spidey senses are in full effect and it senses a Bronco outright win!!!

I know Rivers is supposed to be good on MNF, SD vs. DEN trend, etc. etc.

But I see the Bolts with their 1-4 ATS @ home when the line is under 5 pts since 2005 vs. DEN 5-5 ATS on the road over the same time period and it's hard to back the home team.

Do home LT has a good game though. That would be fun to watch.

Your right. They are all built from the money lost in the casinos. The sportsbook is a very small percentage of thier winings

Also the line is setup to attract action from both sides. If they made it Denver -4. Everyone would be on the Chargers and the chances of Denver covering are lessened. If the line was setup Chargers -7 most would be on the Broncos. But if you make it Chargers -3.5. You should get even action and people who bet big will be on the Chargers thinking they are outsmarting the linesmakers with ther bogus reasons why the Chargers will blowout the Broncos. Well the books will win big tonight knowing Denver has the better side even on the road. Despite the stupid percentages people pay attention to say, Vegas will make their money tonight.

You are assuming that Vegas has nothing to do with illegal gambling. Those college kids and bachelor party goers at the $10 Blackjack tables is their main profit???

Vegas does not lose! They have nickel slot machines to take your your nickels if you are willing to risk it.
