So let me get this straight... we have less preseason, more regular season AND they are taking a week off in-between? WTF
What they should of done is cut preseason to 3 games, kept em at a 16 game regular season, and given each team 2 bye weeks. IMO.
Any regular season rushing/passing and td records won't mean anything to me. Plus, there will be more injuries with 17 games. Dudes are going to get worn out.

Within a couple yrs preseason will be 2 games and regular season will be 18. The only thing stopping this would be a significant, quantifiable increase in injuries as a result of adding the 17th game.
On a semi related note, in a few short yrs the NFL will be making a billion a year from gambling. Add in additional revenues from the additional games, and the contracts that have been given to QBs in the last 2 yrs will be chicken scratch.
As a whole, the NFL owners are the best businessmen of all the sports

The Pats just made a great decision in releasing Fig Newton. Mac Jones will be a star in this league. All the proof I need is that coach BB has one good friend, and that is Coach Saban. Once NE drafted Jones it was obvious that 2 of the best coaches in the history of football agreed that Mac Jones will be a very good NFL QB.
The Pats also had a few opt-outs on D last year, who return this year to fortify what was a very good unit. NE’s O-line is very good, and they loaded up at TE, which is a staple of their offense. This team is built to win now, and Jones is the right QB for the job. Cam simply sucked last year, and has for a few years now.
There is way too much love for the Bills. Yes, they have a deep roster, but the chances that Allen has the same season as he did last year are slim. The kid stunk in 2018, and was avg at best in 2019. Last year could have been an aberration, or his career year. I’m not sold on Allen being elite.
I don’t bet futures, but if I did I would load up on the Pats Over RSW, Mac Jones for ROY, and Pats to win their division.

NE just placed Stephon Gilmore on the PUP list, which means he will miss the first 6 games. While that is a big loss, the Pats strengthened their secondary so should be able to withstand this. My thoughts on NE’s season have not changed

Cowboys released Gilbert, which leaves Cooper Rush as their only backup QB. Rush stinks!!!
Last week Dallas restructured Zeks contract to free up cap space for this season. My guess is they planned on signing a backup QB after cuts. I can only hope that they don’t sign Cam

I still can't figure out what they didn't see in Dom DeNucci. The guy has a wicked submarine sidearm.

Regarding Josh Allen, if last year was an aberration or not...
Last off season, he did that QB program/camp that Carson Palmer's brother runs. From what I remember reading about it, that helped him tremendously with his mechanics. All the results were recorded from release point, velocity, spin rate and tightness of spiral.
It's definitely the main reason for his improvement.
All though there definitely could be a natural regression, I just don't think that he'll fall off a cliff.

Josh Allen played behind one of the worst offensive lines in NFL history in 2018 ..Throwing to dudes who currently work at taco bell ....
He is always the first one to the facility and the last one to leave according to McDermott ( who practically lives at one BILLS drive ) ...Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll promised to stop raving about Allen's work ethic , but cant contain himself ...
Diggs , Beasley , and Manny Sanders have all said that they needed to beg the team to borrow a jugs machine or buy one after catching passes from Allen during their first practices with the team ...
Betting on Mac jones to win the ROY might have value , but if you're betting on anyone to win the Division but the BILLS you might as well donate your money to a soup kitchen ...
GM Brandon Beane is a cap genius who talked several vets into reworking their deals so they could resign 2 starting O lineman , and Matt Milano this offseason, several others came back on a discount to play here..They added 2 pass rushers in rounds 1 and 2 ( their weakness ly) and the defense got a big boost with its anchor coming back at DT after Covid opting out last season .
...The Trubisky signing is the perfect insurance policy should Allen miss any time ...Trubisky got a bum wrap playing on the offensively challenged Bears , and still managed to go 29-21 as a starter ...He has looked fantastic all camp , even the most negative beat reporters have only positive things to say ...He looked better than advertised vs the Bears ( although it was only preseason) ...
Oddsmakers currently have them as the chalk in 15 out of 17 games ..Only the dog at KC AND T BAY ....Despite finishing in 1st place the BILLS have the 8th easiest schedule according to oddsmakers season win totals .. Nice to have 9 games at home ..
BEST OF LUCK BROTHER
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!

I respect your knowledge of the Bills, but as with everyone else, including myself, there are certain teams which we are biased towards.
I see no value in laying big chalk with any team to win their division. All it takes is one key injury. And no, Trubisky is not the answer IMO. Let’s hope we don’t have to find out.
Good luck this year

thanks for reviving a childhood trauma, in the vid the announcer recounts one Kent Tekulve. Orioles could not get a big hit off him in 79 series and proceeded to lose after being up 3 - 1.Whats next a vid of Sister Sledge's "We are Family"

Last year I lost the first 5 weeks in a row and packed it in. I’m pretty sure that I’ve never had 5 consecutive losing weeks in an NFL season previously. I did start again in the playoffs and broke even.
For me, wagering on the NFL is not about stats. Anything that I can come up with has already been factored into the lines. NFL is more of an art, it’s a rhythm, and once I start fighting it I lose all sense and confidence. That happened to me last year. Hoping for something better this season.

Agreed and you're one of the very best around. It's hard not to chase your pre-conceived notions on certain teams but it pays to change or at least back off. I remember years ago when CD would bet Jeff Fisher's Titans almost every week. I pleaded with him to just stop. He couldn't because he was so enamored with their perceived value as opposed to the reality of they sucked and the game had passed Fisher by. This year I think McCarthy is Fisher. If the Cowboys surprise me, good for them and you. But don't over estimate them just yet.

Ok guys, I've done my Bears assessment for the year. They are going to suck The best thing that could happen is if Andy Dalton gets hurt week 1, then maybe, just maybe, they might sniff 9 wins. Otherwise, looking like 6-11.

No team is as good as it looks when winning nor are they as bad as they look when losing
