You guys have an employee that is telling a couple of us to stop bumping old threads....why would a moderator tell us to do that?
The Mod even went so far as to point his finger like this 
....this brought back old childhood memories that I have been trying to escape for years....there was the great foam finger incident of '92 at a Bears/Raiders game that I went to and let's just say I've been picking foam from my head ever since...
I scoured the Manifesto 16 1/2 times and saw nothing stating that this was in violation of any rule or regulation....I even went to the secret Manifesto and saw nothing there as well....The threads being bumped were certainly of great entertainment value and other posters seemed to like them....
I would like to know why a Moderator of your forums would come in and make an isolated threat for no reason when no rules were being violated....this particular Moderator tends to do this sort of thing, even when unprovoked....The Nod is ruining my overall Covers experience.....I don't know if he is mad because his team is 1-4 or if maybe he lives in a tent in his Native land and is required to wear a pink jumpsuit, but nonetheless it is unprofessional...
I am hopeful you will do the right thing here and take the necessary action to rectifying the situation....The constant tip toeing around here that a poster must have is exhausting when Nods rule subjectively versus objectively...I understand rules are rules, but when rules are not broken and posters are chastised I think Mangement needs to step in...
