You're fucking right UNDER was the play! I hope you bet your mother's house on it. Seriously. A fucking panther with complex design that looks like a fucking dolphin from afar and with the school's letters behind it. Troy also has a complex logo but it's symmetric, therefore neutral. If Troy was to play Oklahoma State or Houston, I would lean Over.

Now to the Houston game. It's easy for me to say it now that the game is over but just read back my original post. Houston's logo is two simple letters that have a solid, contrasting boundary (UH). It is good to bet against the big spread. But Rice's logo, although hard to draw, is a simple letter ("R"), no boundaries but fancy font. A rule of thumb is, when the teams' logos are only letters, with a contrasting boundary or a look that you wouldn't want to punch with your fist, bet the OVER, BIG.

Rice's other logo (the Owl) that used to be displayed on ESPN Gamecast was still very symmetric.

This rule of "letters as logos" does not apply if the logo has only one color and no boundaries (Tennessee "T", Rutgers "R", Nebraska "N",etc).

I have been staring at logos all day and some games really hit me to bet big on the Overs. You know my theory so I don't need to post my plays. Posting plays may result in the following:

1. Vegas rigs the game to go the other way
2. Covers bans me for winning too much
3. They don't win and I get laughed at.

As you can see none of the results are favorable for me.

But if you followed my rules about betting teams with solid letter(s) in boundaries as logos (big spread or OVER's), you would have made money. Look at Texas Tech. The double T's with the 3D look and solid black shadows. For Baylor ESPN no longer uses the green ugly Bear on Gamecasts, instead, just the letters BU, attached together with a thin yellow boundary. Oklahoma State is another good example. Whether you use the big squarish intimidating "O" inside of that black boundary or just OSU, the rule of the logo applies.

Thursday night's game (Houston) was the first leg of all my parlays for Saturday's games and (thankfully) I will not have to make another one as they are all still alive. I can almost spell a word with their logos (RUH). Last week's word made up of logos was:

LUHASH

1. Lobos (complexe wolf, auto-fade)
2. Houston (UH)
3. Alabama (notice ESPN no longer uses that fat elephant, instead just an "A" inside of a circle)
4. Stanford (standard auto-play, the Christmas tree in the middle of the logo on my iPhone Gametracker only serves as a catalyst, ESPN uses the simple "S")
5. Hawaii OVER. Hawaii's simple yet intimidating "H" represent big points along with a poor defense (with the spikes at the sides of the "H"). Although my system is only good for the 2011 season, Hawaii has a history of playing pass-happy-no-defense football, especially on the island dating back to the days of Chang and Brennan. Visiting teams have their heads on the beach but that won't stop them from going for the scores. The game had mediocre teams but quick possessions, either quick 3&outs by incompletions or scores.

How in hell? Have you been paying attention at all? How many people do you know that can draw that frog with a fucking pencil? And that cougar sitting on top of the mountain. Forget about it man.

I don't normally like to give my insight on game but since I am not betting this one, the play is UNDER

Also notice that one of TCU's 2 Over's and also the highest scoring game was against... BU (no animal in the logo in spite of being called the Bears)!

More games that I will not be betting on but really like:

Oregon; System analysis: Logo is a big squarish and simple "O" with a contrasting yellow background.

Clemson OVER; System analysis: Georgia Tech's "GT" two simple letters in a black boundary, Clemson's logo is four simple ovals making up the Bearcat's paw.

I also like Arizoba State because, well, "ASU" is much easier to draw than that complex old Sun Devil logo. On the other side you have that Buffalo, where the same auto-fade rule as the Lobos applies.

And the second play of my parlay was: Northwestern/Indiana OVER.

Looking at the logos, we have a big "N" and the letters "I" and "U" merging with each other. That animal in the NW logo kinda scared me and having "NIU" altogether ddidn't look very intimidating with the "I" sandwiched in between. But nonetheless the put up half the total points after one play in the 2nd quarter and scored another TD.

Looks like Vegas is going to have to look at some logos this afternoon if they want to break my parlay.

I don't think the logo system is getting enough respect around here (yet). On week 9 we had some pretty solid and simple logos composed of only big letters that went way OVER. They all won + Stanford to complete my 5-teamer. Texas Tech and Iowa State lost. I guess not enough letters in ISU's logo.

That "dumb shit system" is on a 15-4 run. 

15-3 if you only count the games I bet on (parlayed week in and week out). The losing game that I did not bet on was BYU/TCU Under. Complexe logos but lots of big letters.

Also, part of the system is NOT to post the exact plays because it is so effective that if Vegas sees it the rig might go the other way.

I have made a list of games I like this week and I will start staring at the teams' logos deeply tomorrow. Usually I start with 9 games and eliminate some. This time I have less than 9 games so my job might be easier.

Remember, for totals it is the two teams' logo together that make up one big logo that counts. For sides, bet a heavy fav with one simple logo made up of a big letter(s). Also bet heavy favs if you're only doing it to fade the other team (complexe, hard to draw logo).

I usually draw out two lines of coke, and if they aren't symmetrical I do them right away.

The next two lines I just do RIGHT AWAY cos' I had just done two lines previously.

Then I go into the online casino and lose $500 in three mouse clicks in Blackjack.

At that point, I'm out of gambling money for the weekend, and read Covers forum for hints and tips on new system plays...

Not every game falls under the system. Toledo does not even fall in the "to bet or not to bet" category. No Toledo's logo is not a "simple" letter. If anything go Under because both logo are of complex form and neither are made up of a big framed letter.

Like I said, this game could go either way. The system only asks "bet the OVER or not" and "Bet the big fav or not". Hence why I only start with 8-9 games every week.
