I just came upon this thread today and sorry to read of your experience and loss.

I caught COVID March 2021 and was facing death. Was in ICU and I fought to stay alive. 

From January 2021 I know of 5 people, 4 personal friends and 1 of my friends’ brothers who have all died after catching COVID. Don’t know if my friend’s brother was vaccinated or not but like my 4 personal friend’s he had underlying health issues. Other than my closet friend of the 4, 3 weren’t vaccinated because it wasn’t available. My closet friend, gambling buddy got his 1st dose as soon as he could because he was afraid of catching the virus as he was fighting cancer. He went to hospital because he didn’t feel good and in 10 days, he was dead.  My daughter was informing me of how he was doing because her friend is my buddies’ niece. Probably day 4-5 she told me he was doing well and should be home next couple days. He took a turn for the worse and it was all downhill from there, no return. He got to facetime with his family and now he’s gone, 57 years old. 

Way to much to write here about my death facing experience and would love to but in short I was a very healthy guy and mentally strong and that's what saved me. My life has taken a complete turn around but I'm alive and will be on home oxygen rest of my life.
