I might be making a gigantic leap to satisfy my ego here but ESPN if you’d like to use my verbiage I’d take some mf’in compensation ayo I know ur reading this espn intern.

First it was a punch, then a slap, then nedtan says it’s a swipes. Espn: yeah we go with swipe!!

 Yeah he was pissed for the wrong reasons, but after that don't grab him like tough guy because he might react like he did 

Howard acted in a very unprofessional way. The slap...punch...whatever, occurred when things began unraveling. Would not blame him a bit for the finger point, etc. Badger coach made a bad decision grabbing him and basically forcing him to stop and converse...but the punch, slap, whatever was at a time when a COACH would have gathered himself. There is no excuse for his actions. I'm not a racist and if he is not rebuked and at least suspended...the cowards that allow him to behave this way need to be grilled for not telling the jerk his behavior is unacceptable and it is pay up time.

What makes it worse in my opinion for Howard, is that he played in the league for all of those years. This isn't some assistant rookie coach. Howard is a coach of young men at a university. A FORMER NBA player for many years. He of ALL people should know how to act, but obviously he doesn't. He needs his ass fired immediately. This isn't the first time he's had run ins with other coaches. 

Suspend him for 2 games on principle. Nothing bad happened. Move on....

Michigan has perfect opportunity to move on from Howard and get John Beilein back. He had that program rolling.

 Actually, Steven A was somewhat logical with his response when asked.  (he can keep the "brother" this and that out of every sentence)

A couple things.  Remember last year when Juwana lost his shit against Maryland in the Big10 tourney.  He got his pass then.  As a coach, you have to be the coolest head in the room, and that isn't the case with Howard.  He doubled down in his post game presser by not even saying he did anything wrong.  

To bring Ron Artest into this discussion is pretty dumb.  100% different scenario, in a professional league, with grown men.  Howard should 100% be fired.  What kind of example is he setting for 18 year old kids.  "The other team called a time out, and i didn't like it, so I'm gonna get physical with someone".  Gard isn't free of punishment either, but until we get a mic and hear what was said between the two, he sure as hell could have been saying "chill the fuck out, it was my 7-12 guys on the court and they were going to turn the ball over, maybe you shouldn't have been pressing".  

In a society where everyone is dying to cancel each other out for just voicing opinions and now we have a coach slapping another coach and all of a sudden everyone at espn says he should just get a couple games, ridiculous.  He needs to be let go and lesson learned. Call the coach who was there before him and get him back ASAP because he is a phenomenal college coach and had that program at an elite level. 

It’s simple you could see hot head was in a bad mood, angry walking down that line and didn’t even want to acknowledge the other head coach!!! He’s being a Fukien sore loser, get another job then!!!

Interesting choice of words. ESPN wouldn’t have it any other way…

The winter of 2021/2022 sure has seen a record amount of snowflakes come out of the woodwork...threads like this is a perfect example.

If I was a player on Michigan, I'd run thru a brick wall for Coach Howard after he stood up for his team being disrespected in a blowout.

If this exact same scenario happened between St. Francis and Canisius, no one would even know about two white dudes bittch slapping each other.

When I was in HS we'd often have fist fights in the parking lot after the game , then it was over and everyone moved on with their lives..

Sorry I might have been too harsh on the posters here....

Maybe they didn't play competitive physical sport or just can't understand how tempers boiling during the game could lead to punches flying ..
