lets say its lakers-cavs for the finals...which it will be most likely.
I will agree with you that it is impressive that the lakers are the only team that won any game of substance on clevelands homecourt....that is a good thing for LA....but what are the chances they do it again?? what really are the odds?? and also what are the odds that LA beats the cavs three games in a row in LA?? its proven that this is an extremely difficult task...not spread out in 7 games, but 3 consecutive times, same court, same teams....you know that cleveland will most likely steal one of those three, and you also know that for a team that went 39-2 (one of those losses was by 1 point to the 76ers without their best players) at home the probability is very, very good they will go up 2-0 in the series right out of the gate.
now lets say the series shifts back to cleveland with LA up 3-2....again, the cavs were 39-2 at home....do u think it is very possible they win the final 2 games at home to win the series??
i'm looking at scenarios, i'm looking at probabilities, if the lakers had homecourt i'd feel differently....teams just play different at home look at the jazz, the celts, etc etc....my money is on Cleveland, last year it was on Boston....with how these refs manage these games, not having homecourt will be an uphill battle the further the playoffs go...i'm sure david stern would absolutely LOVE to see LBJ get his ring this year before he jumps ship....that will be a revenue MONSTER for the NBA in a tough economy.

LOL! Yeah, Bynum just came back from injury and he's obviously not ready...he's NOT the player he was before he got injured last season and he's NOT the player he was before he got injured this season. He is a difference maker, but, he simply hasn't had enough gametime to get in his groove. The Lakers are clearly better with Lamar Odom and Shannon Brown on the floor right now.

Question for you robbie? ... Who should be more concerned? Laker fans or Celtic fans?
i'm not a cavs fan....i'm a celts fan through and through...but i'm also a realist....without KG, Powe, and homecourt advantage I am being honest in saying I don't like their chances...at all....
see my paste above from a post I made on page 4....I already told you i'm not confident in the Celts chances because of reasons above....this isn't about my team that I love going any further then yours....its about your over the top, pump your chest ra-ra lakers posts getting constantly moosed.
