I think for a couple reasons.
I'm not sure if they can ban an IP address or not, I'm not that technically savvy. However, this site makes money from their advertisers. Those advertisers want page hits, so they aren't going to "perma ban" any IP address, as that will reduce the website hits. But, they have to have some sort of TOS in place, and they don't want their forums used as a place for people to sell crap, whether it's picks, or anything else. So, when people are in violation of the TOS, that SAF is banned. They know full well the user can just create another one, and post again, wash rinse repeat.
So, they actually DO ban that guy who makes 10+ names every weekend, which is why he has to make 10+ names. They just don't permanently block his site access.
I could be wrong, but that's just my perspective on it.

Let's see. Covers said they banned him because he had other SAF's of know spamming touts. Then lo and behold he is now charging for his picks. But people still think covers banned him because he was 6-0. LOL. Come on people!!!!!!
It was a typical tout scam from the outset. Pretend to have inside info, post a few plays, hope they win. If they don't, trash screen name and start over with a slightly different angle. If they win, FUEL UP THE DOUCHEMOBLIE AND HIGH TAIL IT FOR THE TOUT HIGHWAY!! Then blame covers or other BS about why you got banned.
You might be right that he just got lucky - but almost all of those games covered easily. The Minnesota Vikings +10 pick was never in doubt.
Sorry he went tout, but hey, that was his plan all along. Oh well.

Looked like a tout from the beginning. Inside info live from Vegas is standard tout material. It was a nice streak, I was looking at some of those plays already, especially the Vikings, just seemed like a classic setup.. Even Brandon Lang went on a streak once[Loonngg time ago] Sports Gambling is like the NBA every team has a run.

He got banned cause he won. It happens all the time. So why doesn't anyone else get banned because of aliases? Only the people that win that they supposedly find aliases. Come on wake up.
You've been here for 4 years and you still actually think that the mods have ulterior motives in banning these guys? It's not like we get a piece of the action or anything.

It amazes me at the thought process of some of these people!
Histrionic personality disorder. It's sad

Well if you say he wasn't banned for winning then I believe you. If he was planning on selling his picks that's a no no on this site so whatever I said previously I am sorry. With that being said go Bears!
