Glad you agree with that. It did age well. When you put that slide in the context of what he did in the first half, even my 10 year old would not throw the ball up for grabs like that in peewee football, then it all makes sense. I have watched football for more than 3 decades. I’ve seen lots of GOATs and the only one who ever threw up moonballs like that was Favre, after he had been hit so many times that he couldn’t think straight. That’s not what was going on here.

Someone said he slid because he was going to be tackled ..lol.

These types of scenarios will be debated for years. It was called in, no question. its an intangible that cant be capped ie turnovers etc. I still hit 59% +85 units last season and I will do it again this year..thats the bottom line of it all. ..on to week 5

What’s incredible to me is that some people on here will not even acknowledge that these athletes know the lines. If people can just concede that, and I don’t see why they can’t since ex athletes are now in all these podcasts talking about how they knew what the odds were in games they played, then they have to also acknowledge that they also know people, family, friends and girlfriends, who know the lines and gamble on this shit.
That may not be a smoking gun, but an athlete doesn’t have to profit off a bet to shave points or fuck around with the odds. And he doesn’t have to tell anyone about it, either. So there is no issue of getting caught. He knows, and that’s enough for him It must be an amazing feeling to know, as McVay surely did when he kicked that FG against the Niners, that you hold the gambling fate of thousands of people in your hands! Just the feeling of the power alone can make these guys do crazy shit, and on national TV no less where their antics will be talked about on shows like “bad beats.” That’s what power does.

The only thing that makes this odd is the bogus phantom cheap hold that was called on Sauce on 3rd and long for KC. Why was that called? If NFL wanted Jets to cover.

Million dollar masters of manipulation. I've been at this for 26 years, in the early days..you scratch your head and say mmm..now since it became legal these scenarios have been happening more often. The field goal by McVay..was classic. Its part of the game,, cap it and wrap it.

Taylor Swift is gonna ruin the team like Jessica Simpson doomed the Cowboys with Romo. Mahomes is gonna get hurt before the playoffs take the Bills and Miami to win the AFC it's gonna be one of those two no other team can do it the Bengals aren't right the North and South is mediocrity and the other teams in the West have awful defenses and bonehead coaches

Because Mahomes wasn’t scripted to throw another INT in that game. That’s why he threw the flag. If that ball went out of bounds, ref doesn’t throw the flag

Not the NFL. They just wanted a close game for eyeballs. That was all Mahomes. Imagine you are him. You know the score/odds in the back of your mind. You know millions are riding on what you choose to do. Scoring is the obvious choice. Nothing controversial about that. But if you don’t score then you really show your power! And everyone is talking about you the next day. You’re like a god out there on the field. You hold their fate in your hands. And now everyone knows it.

I just watched the replay of that down.
clear shot of ref throwing the flag ONLY and immediately after the Jets picked off Mahomes. Truly incredible. They cheat in plain sight.

That makes sense. I didn’t recall the play when you asked. If he was intercepted of course they’d throw the flag. The Chiefs weren’t supposed to lose, not with all the Swiftys watching. only keep it close for the eyeballs.

Big one next week, buddy. Fat McCarthy coming to town. I’m thinking of going all in again. Haven’t decided. But I like the Niners in this spot. They may never be this healthy or ready and rested again on all year. And on prime time too. Only question is to lay the 3 or take the ML.

I thought about the health factor as well. They’re at full strength and playing their best football right now, Shanahan doesn’t have a look of panic on the sidelines anymore (Jimmy G gone). You won’t find a better spot to hammer the Niners. I will be on them for sure BB. Thanks bro
