They knocked on my door and wanted $1800 to seal my 300ft asphalt driveway. I told them no 3 different times. They finally left when I started talking about all the ammo I could buy for $1800.

They knocked on my door and wanted $1800 to seal my 300ft asphalt driveway. I told them no 3 different times. They finally left when I started talking about all the ammo I could buy for $1800.

Here in WNY we had Carnival gypsies that owned and operated the catholic/Baptist church lawn fetes rides and games ..
As a teenager my friends and I followed some of the most physically beautiful women I've ever seen around their circuit ...Those young women were a ton of fun to hang out with ...We all used to go drinking at McCarthy Park( or any other park ) and chill to the AM .. Many of them had every grifter con artist scam mastered ...Some of them were the polar opposite , resented that the other women represented them in any fashion...Their roots were all over the place ...Irish, polish , eastern European, Russia etc...

The Carnival group I wrote about in post 29 ran a huge scam a amusement park here....They sold them a ton of rides for what appeared to be at a great price ( as is ) , except it wasn't the working rides they saw at the carnivals...When the rides were delivered they were missing key pieces or basically just scrap / only worth selling for parts ...
Another Gypsy group stepped in to charge the amusement park big bucks to fix and maintain the rides ...They'd rigged them to work for a few weeks at a time....The company that owned the amusement park went bankrupt within 3 years ....No one ever thought that North Town staple would close ...
Another owner bought the park, but has only been able to open the water park over the last 2.5 years...
