Throw out Syndergaard's last start against the Cubs, and you're looking at a 1.82 ERA across 8 starts since the All-Star break.  Big pitching advantage for the Mets.  Ross has tendency to walk a lot of batters for the Nats.  The offenses are about equal in batting averages and homers.  The clincher is BigRed is on the Nationals today.  He's beautiful fade material.   

Odorozzi has a 5-1 record in 10 career starts against Detroit with a 3.05 ERA. He'll face Jordan Zimmerman who has a 4-5 record and an ERA of 6.89 versus the Twins.  Minnesota has the more potent batting average of .273 vs .238 for Detroit.  Minnesota also has big advantage in homers 268-127 and runs scored at 810-491.

I love it when you are totally confident on your "bets".

You are correct in pointing out I lost that parlay.  But, there is no crying in baseball.

I believe my handicapping was pretty spot on.  The biggest problem was that Minnesota left 1 shy of a football team on base.

MN Team RISP was 3-12.

MN team LOB was 10.

I usually don't have time to handicap baseball.  I actually work for a living.  But fading BigRed is a valuable tool for any novice gambler.

Trust me.  When I actually do gamble, it isn't 3 mythical games a day, for the imaginary $100/game, with phony lines and phony winnings and losses.  It's real money.  No way is BigRed betting every day, with his favorable lines, and constant beatings.
