 The Jays won the first 5 innings 8-1. I believe in our hotstove thread we discussed their shitty bullpen. 

As for Gausman's 4 earned runs, I blame the manager for pulling him when he did. He got 2 outs, rather convincingly. 3 earned were chalked up cause he had guys on base. Why and who he put in after that was a stupid move.

Either way the over was tits no matter how it happened. Glad I wasn't holding a Jays ML ticket.

Like it.  Bassitt got hit hard by the Braves in his biggest game ever a week ago.  I'm taking the 1st 5 O 3.5.  Both games have hit so far with the aces, bats should be alive again

The Yankees are leaving Aroldis Chapman off the playoff roster

Chapman blew off a required team practice. Boone used that as an excuse. Chapman was apparently upset they haven't yet put his monument in center field. He'll never throw another pitch for the Yankees, in my opinion.

Chapman was a jerk not to show up to practice...

Cashamn said this is the first, since he is with the Yankees organization, that a player has missed a mandatory training, so it wasn't hard for them to not put Chapman on the roster, not that his form was worth putting him on the roster in the 1st place, his control is all but gone, he walking guys in almost every appearance he had. Imo his career as a Yankees is done since he is heading to FA, although I dunno who will sign him, maybe a setup man.

I think it's difficult to be harsh with him, without remembering the guys took a 120 mph liner to the head, that type of trauma leaves marks, which is his case can be reflected in his behavior off the field.

So for Tuesday all home teams are heavy chalk, I'll list the odds with bet% next to them.
