What are we thinking for tonight?
The under could be dangerous, given it's a winner takes all type of game.
Having given up 2 runs and taking the loss on Friday, Taillon must feel like he has something to prove tonight, although Boon hinted he wont hesitate going to the bullpen, if things don't look good.
It looks like the weather may cause a delay or even a postponement for tomorrow...

Ventured into the mains for a moment, saw the thread with the guy saying the Packers threw the game yesterday and probably Yankees will throw the game tonight, someone said it's a trap game, maybe the same guy. Amazing

Saw that one too. I think that "delusionment" should be a new word, and a diagnostic condition amongst medical professionals.

Nope they'll stick with Civale. I think that's a smart manager's choice telling the team we're good enough to win with him. Confidence boost all the way around. I'll dabble in the Indians 1st 5 ML.

@bigred84
I saw a stat yesterday that when ANY pitcher has pitched on 3 days or less rest in the playoffs, their average era was 4.89, and averaged 3.2 innings or so.
Terry Francona made the right decision, regardless of how Civale did. Bieber would of been in a brutal spot. Cleveland's pen was also not good, when they usually are.
That's baseball

Yeah but Cortes pitched the same game Bieber pitched, and Yankees still used him today, pitching 5 and giving up 1 run...
Stanton pretty much won the game all by himself, with that 3 run HR, which was a bit of a surprise giving the pitch he hit in on. Everything away or down is always a problem for big G, but given his power if he puts the bat on anything it has a chance of leaving the park. The same goes for Judge and the HR he hit.
On the one hand I'm glad the Yankees won to advance to the ALCS, on the other hand I wish they would've had more time off, for the rotation to look right, so I guess Astros have the upper hand in that regard.
It will be Verlander vs Taillon tomorrow, one thing to look forward to: was Verlander's last outing a mere fluke?

I hear you.....but Im gonna die with the Ace of Hearts versus
the 9 of clubs.....any day of the week....and the pen only allowed 2 runs in 7 2/3rds
of an inning....

Good point. I guess Bieber isn't going to do much good now when there is no more playoffs
