ARIZONA +3
ARIZONA UNDER 49
let's hit it
Favre is good, but I am ready for his EGO to take a hit
Nothing to handicap the game, just a personal feeling
Don't forget to consider the Vikings team total UNDER. I like that a lot, too.

I don't worry about star players getting scratched from the lineup shortly before a game. It always seems to make the team play harder while it often results in the opponent becoming complacent. Besides, this is a situational spot I'm betting on, not Warner vs. the Vikings defense.

My only late afternoon bet is on the chump Giants. I'm going big on the Cardinals and the under. I'm betting that tonight's the night Minnesota's Favre Fireworks fizzle out.
You got that right Bator.I couldn't bet on that team right now if you gave me the money to do so. I finaly learned my lesson betting on those Chumps.....They are not as good as I thought they were.
Bol.

So then Leinart comes in and beats them. I don't care who the quarterback is tonight. If Leinart were announced as the starter 10 minutes before the kickoff, I would increase my bet. Bottom line, the Vikings expended a huge amount of energy over the last three weeks to rough up three terrible teams in the Metrodome. Why'd they do it? I don't know, but this is the stinkin' NFL, where you can't just keep crushing teams 36-10 every week without soon having the wheels come off. Tonight, the wheels come off for the Vikings on both sides of the ball.
And it doesn't hurt the cause that the Cardinals have a meaningful revenge motive going for them as Minnesota embarrased them in Glendale last season, taking a shocking 28-0 lead behind the magical arm of Tarvaris Jackson before cruising to a 35-14 blowout win. It also doesn't hurt that these Cards respond like champs to tough losses, and last week's loss in Tennessee was a nasty one.

Bator; if you like the under, and you like Arizona and you like the Minny TT under... why not parlay Arizona ML with the under? i think that is what i'll be doing along with my Arizona spread bet. No under alone for me as i don't think this game stays under if Minny wins.

I did. Arizona ML +170 with under 48.5 -110. Placed it last night.

Is there any great spot to lay heavy chalk with the Lakers when we know that there's the very real threat of the bench dregs coming in to fuck up a huge lead while Phil sits and does nothing? Since Pau Gasol returned to the lineup, the Lakers have shown us that they can handle any team with ease (unless they get totally bored doing that and feel like playing a tight game instead, like they did on Friday). But, many of us have also been witness to bums like Jordan Farmar, Shannon Brown, Adam Morrison, Josh Powell, and the irrepressible Sasha commiting turover after turnover in the 4th quarter while the other team's scrubs race the other way for layups and dunks. What good is it to correctly figure the Lakers will build a 20+ point lead after three quarters when you know these guys are waiting to help trim it down to single digits?
Last month, when the Suns came to the Staples Center, they brought with them the league's best record, so the Lakers accepted the challenge and played hard for four quarters. The Suns were also at an enormous disadvantage that night because they were caught in what I consider to be the NBA's worst possible scheduling spot. The Suns had recently returned to Phoenix from a 5-game road trip, had one day off, then played a home game and had to board a flight to L.A. afterwards for another road game the next night. That's a killer. Not surprisingly, the Suns had little left in the tank and lost by 19 points.
Tonight, the Suns are in a very similar spot, though not quite as brutal. They returned to Phoenix early on Thursday morning from a 4-game road trip, had Thursday and Friday off, then played at home last night before boarding their flight to L.A. That's reason enough to stay away from them tonight, but if you choose to trust the champs, you do so at the risk of ending your night hating Sasha Vujacic as much as I do.

The COVERS Community on games where people played a side 60% or more is 0-5 today with SF and SD out, which will go 0-1. 0-2, or 1-1 at best.
The other game is Minn at 68%. If this is any indicator, we are on this "sample" correctly,
