I have to agree with Dirk...this season the NBA has been on par with Young & The Crybaby Restless soap opera...the refs are simply not consistent and are influencing results more than ive ever seen...the amount of bad or even phantom calls made in the 4th Q this year is atrocious.
I think betting live ingame on the NBA is the only legit way to do so when you get 15pts of +EV either on a side or total come halftime or at the end of an obvious 1st Q on a home fav who was scripted first 12min for them to for whatever reason lay down and allow their road dog opponents to get a 5-10- 15-20pt lead after 1Q...whatever the case may be...Bulls in Sactown few days ago was a perfect example...Bulls were up 29-9 something like that after one??? Best +EV wagers ingame on shiitshows like these regardless of teams, is take the home side and the over ingame immediately after the 1st Q and expect regression to the original line...happens well over 65% of the time...this style of betting is the only one that makes sense to me...betting pregame now is no different than betting blindly.

South Carolina +18.5 for two units....live ingame wager at the half...original line of +3.5 at home...fully expect some sort of home cooking favorable foul calls early and often to assist the home team to get this game within single digits with 5 min left in the game....the peoples ship gets smoother in the early Saturday choppy waters if this one hits....hopefully

Lakers +2...as crazy as it sounds, Lakers are playing really well at the moment, and with their players traded, Josh Hart will finally get the playing time he deserves...the kid is a star in the making if he stays healthy...he couldnt get on the court early in the year but he always shined when he got his times...reminds me totally of Vanvleet of the Raps...plus i finally believe Mavs are in full blown tank mode and are on high alert to lose games in the 4th Q on purpose if its too close for them to accidentally get the W.

I hope this doesn't sound like a condescending lecture, because it is obvious to me that the peoples champ, and big D know exactly what they are doing and are great at it. Not good...GREAT.
But Im an old school capper who has been doing this NBA garbage for decades. Believe me when I say that each and every year, there is a 'funky' period of time when up is down, black is white, cats are dogs. Nothing makes sense, the games become completely unpredictable.
And that time is now. It always happens around the trade deadline and the all star break. Teams are in flux, and they are tired, some are tanking, now, or soon. And of course, the fix is always a factor. We are right in the middle of 'funk' season.
This will end soon, I promise you. Beginning around March 1, and through the rest of the season, it will again become very predictable, almost easy at times.
Do not lose faith or focus. You are among the very best this barren penalty box has seen in quite a while. Keep your heads up.

well said Dru, and thank you for opening my eyes to this time period in the NBA. I let my few days of losses cloud my judgement and completely forgot that I almost always take the week off prior to the all star break and will do just that. Thank you
that said,
Creighton -2
Xavier destroyed Creighton a few weeks ago and now the oddsmakers give them a bucket just because they are on the road? Im not buying it.

Yep... February and nobody in the league gives a fukk... I remember hitting the Cavs a few years back on the road against OKC at +1500 on ML.. my only reasoning was that it was a Wednesday night in mid-February. Lebron was in Miami of course.
