Noticed the huge carryover at Santa Anita today. This AM, I bought the sheets and the racing form. I mapped out my Pick 6. Found out this afternoon that OTB is closed for Palm Sunday and so is telephone betting. Figured, I'd go to Aqueduct for the simulcast since I would be not too far away. Closed! Running short on time, I figured, ok, I can make it to Yonkers Raceway in time. Closed! Unreal!
Shut out!
Now I am rooting against myself. I singled the 1 and 1 on my major ticket in the fits two legs. They both won but considering the were 3:5 and 8:5, just about. Everyone is still alive.
When did Palm Sunday become like Christmas Day in NY?

Unbelievable!! Most tracks like to run on any kind of holiday. I can't believe the OTBs were closed as well. I really did'nt pay attention to NY racing today but everyone else was running as usual. Another gambling story or bad beat story, that really sucks.

I knew as soon as I realized it, that my ticket would have been a winner.
Murphy's law!
Been closed for years today and Easter Sunday and on Good Friday many jocks take off back in the day Jorge Velazquez , Cordero Spanish jocks would refuse to ride on Good Friday Go figure . People are home you would think they run earlier and get you home.

By the time I found this all out when I called telephone betting and it was closed, I had 90 minutes. After trying Aqueduct and finding out Yonkers was also closed, I had less than an hour to get to the Meadowlands and was about an hour away. I was driving in that direction but traffic was bad and when my GPS said I was 40 minutes away and I realized it was 32 minutes before post time, I gave up.

Yeah, I would have put them in for you even though you wouldn't play one for me that one time. Yeah, sorry for loss, but was in the DRF and Steve Christ mentioned it on the KD futures bet. Remember Easter is Sunday.

Steve Christ : If you do your betting in New York either at the track or through a NYRA
or OTB offtrack account, remember that there will be no racing or
wagering tomorrow due to the antiquated prohibition against such
activity on Palm Sunday. (Of course the casino at Aqueduct and the state
lottery will both be open.) So if you wanted to bet the second round of
Derby Futures, you'll have to do so by the end of today and without the
benefit of seeing tomorrow's Louisiana Derby.

My name is Roused. I live with and mooch off my brother because I have
no money. I used to be a certified financial planner but since I no
longer have a valid license, I am now trying to be a personal trainer. I
use social networking sites to con people out of money. In fact, what I
do is befriend victims on such sites and do whatever I can to con them
out of money. I will sign promissory notes or any agreements to repay
anyone. It doesn't matter to me because I will not repay anyone and I am
a criminal. In one such situation, a guy I conned on a site, hurt my
feelings and responded to something I said regarding karma and said my
day is coming and he called me a scumbag. Please punish him. Maybe you
can ground him and take away his television privileges or spank him. I
hope I don't have to get a lawyer because if I need to, I will need to
steal more money from somebody else.
Singed,
Roused
