I agree that a QB should be somewhat protected but I think once they try and make a tackle it should be fair game.  Just me though what do I know!

As I mentioned above, lineman know to hit the QB whenever there is a turnover..

It isnt the first or last time we will see that.

That was the cleanest hit all year ..... Many qbs will think twice about tacking after seeing that lol

Sure they salivate but so what.  A clean hit is a clean hit.  Clean hits can be nasty and vicious.  Part of the game.  If you're on the field that's the game.

Your defense is not tough..you took care of turnovers and you deserve respect for that..no doubt.

The drives where the Cards didnt make a turnover they took it right through you.

The game is over though...congrats to the Saints.

Agreed Wallstreet...not cool.

NFL is an unforgiving game though....especially in the playoffs. These men are trained to almost kill.

I don't see how grabbing his facemask was clean at the end of the hit.It's up to ariz to police cheap shots.I'm sure whisenhunt will say something about it at halftime,but ariz needs to throw in a few leg whips or chop blocks to  keep n.o. honest.

The cheap shots arent why the team is down.

The defense for the Cards sucks, thats all there is too it.

As Ive said plenty of times, the weakness of this team is the defense and the OL..

i think you are letting emotion cloud your judgment on this one... yea it is a rough thing to see Warner hit like that... but QBs are fair game in those situations... we've seen worse hits on QBs on that kind of a play...

saw the hit again on the zapruder film.....clearly hit to the front right shoulder, throwing him to his back. back and to the left...back and to the left.  glad this arguement is over..... sorry for your loss...
