Not sure how I got here

Well I am not sure how I got myself to the penalty box but sure would like to know. Not that I am terribly upset but just wondering why...So I will be contraversial right from the start.....SPORTS ARE RIGGED....every pointspread is determined by the refs...Lets here some opinions to that. Sports betting is a billion dollar business, is it naive to think that vegas is just depending on luck when 70% of the bets or more are on one side of a game? especially when it is a big game with alot of action.

Also, since I don't bet and have no idea how to pick the games, is it possible to win betting?? I see the best handicappers here are hitting about 60%, that is the best handicappers. Can you make money hitting 60%? I am just trying to learn how sports bettors think.

Do books make money hitting 40% + vig?

Hummm....let's see.......I bet 100,000 over 1 year.  I hit it 60% of the time. Did I make money, or lose money?

ok if you bet even amounts, you risked 100k and after juice on loser picks.... you make 16k for the year..now that is assuming you bet even amounts on every game....interesting,....tell me more, are you making alot from betting? just curious..

16% return- assuming 10% vig, regardless of amount wagered, is doing just fine.  Some of the guys that claim to do this professionally have far more than 100K / year in play- probably that much ( if not more ) in a month.  Better have a handsome bankroll.

I think some games have outcomes that referrees heavily influence, how can you not after the NBA betting scandal. There is no way i'd ever beleive he was the only one doing it, I think he's the only one so far that has been caught...but I do not think this is the case in EVERY sporting event, but i'm sure its happening in many.

you had some good write-ups on your betting theories with public picks, etc....what are you seeing in these upcoming bowl and NFL games??

Well Robbie,
       Thank you for the compliment. My write-ups got me here for whatever reason, covers has not exactly explained why yet. I talked the talk then walked the walk by picking winners while everyone was waiting for me to lose so they could bash me, lol. DIDNT HAPPEN, as for the upcoming games I really have not looked at them. That is interesting that you remember me and my post..You have a good memory, sign of intelligence..Good luck

Well I finally got my answer to the question I have been asking for a month. I told a moderator I could give a shit less if I were placed into rehab,LOL...I had no idea it was a moderator....Everyone was slamming me because I said I could pick the games, I tried to be under control but oops i guess i said the wrong thing... too be honest i like the site but don't give a shit..not sure why that is such a wrong thing to say but i guess it happens, I am finished with this thread i have my answer to my question. good luck all

good luck....if you do have something coming up on these games as far as what your seeing as public perception and have some analysis please do come back and post....your input is appreciated by some in here.
