Google::In September 2015, the product was reintroduced by Leaf Brands. The similar Oreo cookie, introduced in 1912, is an imitation of the original Hydrox. The Oreo eventually exceeded Hydrox in popularity, which resulted in the Hydrox cookies being perceived as an Oreo off-brand.

Why did Google, as a search engine, eventually take over the market share of Yahoo, Ask, et al? A huge part of it is that no one has ever uttered the phrase "Yahoo it." "Ever Yahoo yourself to see what pops up."

Full disclosure: I believe another huge part of both Google and Facebook's success is the fact that the people over at Alphabet and Facebook are Demogorgons who sold their souls to the devil but that's a conversation for another day. Today we're keeping it lighthearted with name/brand recognition.
