The oddsmakers saw how both early NBA games were again pathetic 1st half unders and decided “Screw this 115 on the late game! Adjust that motherfucker DOWN! No, more!
I said MORE!!!! No, no…..KEEP GOING!!!!!”
I think THAT’S what happened.

@MrBator Why did you ask the forum to just ignore what others think?
l didn’t ignore anybody. I read every post and no one had an explanation for what happened. Perhaps you’re new to sports betting, but first half totals in the NBA do not drop a massive five and a half points in a matter of minutes. Even a sudden 2-point move is almost unheard of unless a significant injury is announced. And the fact that while this first half total was plummeting from 115 to 109.5, the full game total stayed at 224 makes the situation even more bizarre.
Your simple explanation was incorrect and provided no illumination into this matter. Sorry if I hurt your feelings.

@MrBator I disagree I gave you a perfect explanation. Same as Miami walking up and down on Chicago to slow them down. People think you’re an expert but I think you work for the man.
Come to think of this... the last few MB post have been

oddsmakers dont willy nilly adjust their lines. bettors do. big bettors. there was a well known syndicate that laid a large amount of money on u114.5. enough so, such that even the books trying to attract attention at 113 wouldnt have been enough to balance the u114.5 bet size. they were forced to drop it to 110 to attract some "over" attention and pray they get balanced action and that they dont get middled. sadly, they got my 'over' 109.5. I felt pretty good with 48 pts in the 1st qtr with 3 min to play. but then it went downhill. bad.

First off, I am not here trying to give you shit, I enjoy seeing what you have to say as much as the next guy here, but we all know you do not create threads often making picks, and the last two I saw, correct me if I am wrong was a NHL Hockey game that you loss, and some NBA 1st quarter bet that loss by half a point or something like that. There I told you.

oh. so the heads of the major sports books held a late night round table meeting and deliberated the 114.5. some nerdy kid with glasses and a ti-85 arose from the back and with a squeaky voice provided charts and evidence that the line is just too high. and with that, the head of circa, with his gavel decreed that all books ought to reduce the line to 110 effective immediately. word traveled fast, and within 5 minutes all the boards were updated showing the squeaky new price.
and the same thing happens when apple stock suddenly goes down by $5 within a few mintues, cuz I suppose that sorta stuff happens too, right? it has nothing to do with more sellers than buyers, in turn causing the price to fall $5. that cant be it though, can it?
