Rodeo.....this is why your method is flawed. I just bet 100 on the 1 and now have 300....so I'm up not down like you and your dumbass objectivity.
Ok, Im not going to spend a ton of time on you, because obviously you aren't equipped to grasp the concepts we are discussing here.
I am happy that you loaded up on one of that horses and it hit. I am glad you were lucky to weed though all the picks and fall into the one that paid. Awesome.
What I am not is, as a gambler, any closer to being able to take these picks as anything but numbers strewn about randomly; until I extrapolate a big enough sample.
Had Jennifer told you (or the forum) to load up on that play, now we are talking about an edge.
If you put 100 on all of his/her favorites to win today, where would your bankroll be?
We can use any constant method to assess the picks, but at the end of the day you have to be consistent and you have to pan the whole body of work in order to understand quality and ROI.
Jennifer could alleviate this issue by weighting his/her picks, highlighting his/her stronger plays, or giving insight into how he/she puts her betting combination together. Without that, you have assess the same thing for all the plays.
The only bet I know is a lock today is that you won't understand half of what I just wrote.

I get it and if you want an accurate assessment then you should be dutching the four CONTENDERS she/he gives you each race and gather the data for a lot longer than 2 weeks.

*** This is a perfect example for you, MoreMoney. Jennifer's 3rd place pick Won and her 1st place pick Placed. The Exacta pays out $34.20; one which he/she would have taken boisterous credit for if he/she wasn't in the pool. But, in order for anyone tailing here to have had that combination; they would have either played all 4 horses in an exacta box or got reaaaaalllly lucky in picking those two out of the 4 to wind up in that order.
A $24 bet to cover all the bases only nets a positive $10 net.

I have more than two week's data; I'm looking for about two more week's data.
Jennifers 4 horse lists aren't usually bad, he/she centers around 2 to 3 of the horses in the top four quite often. What is missing is analysis of his/her picks to adopt a systematic way to bet the picks (or avoid them)
I have data guys at my disposal that may be able to find some sort of consistent type of play or wager to employ across these 4 picks. Who knows. The data will potentially yield a use for the picks. If he/she is actually following a process to handicap these picks, the data should show how to optimize them. If they are just random picks throw together; it'll show that too.

Rodeo, In the past I have tracked Jens picks using a system of betting ex/tri/super boxes at the minimum amount. So it is like $24-26.40 per race wagered. Using that system Jen is up like $500 today. Something you might want to look into if you already have the information.
