I tried reading, but there is too much.  Can someone please give me a very brief cliff notes in to what happened?  Is FE banned?  Why are so many people boxed?

Yes FE is banned.
 
Looks like the group went to wagerline and were in a "private" forum, but, there things were said / done that broke some rules.

Now it wasn't what was said that got all of us boxed. It was the fact that we posted email addys so OUR FRIENDS would have them. Also need to note that we did this in what we thought was OUR  PRIVATE FORUM.

FE - Banned. Wasn't here for the down & dirty.
 
We got boxed for posting our info in what we thought was a private contest forum at wagerline. It turns out those private forums can be viewed by anybody, and the resident wagerline rat that found it turned us in via the Wagerline penalty box.
 
Whatever, I'll do my time.

There is obviously more to the story, but unfortunately some of it just can't be discussed out in the open. FE did that and you can see what happened there.
 
Any guesses on to whom banned FE? I don't know who did it but I am definitely curious.

Turns out that the manifesto doesn't mention that private contests are actually public.

By the way some threads were deleted last night which is why the FE banning is so mysterious. There were words said in a thread he created, although I don't recall seeing a mods post in there once. Also nothing derogatory was said with the exception of someone being called a liar.

might be hindsight, but, everyone had Football_experts email addy, why didn't everyone send him the addresses, and let him distribute them back to everyone?

Might be something to consider in the future.

This is obviously because when someone posted something in there it was for the groups sake. I don't know about you, but I don't want my inbox flooded with various bullshit throughout the day.

The bottom line is the definition of privacy is very clear cut.

I would be willing to bet that this is very short and you all will be let out soon - but in the end most only post in the pbox anyway.  For me its hard because everyone has the same avatar.  I know some of you by your avatar.

Stranger comes in and warns them it's not so private.
BR and ABOOKSNIGHTMARE go apeshit on him.
Stranger says fuck you guys then and brings it to the attention of a MOD
 
Guys get boxed and blame COVERS mods
FE.and Weezy call WALLSTREET unloyal.
FE gets banned and comes back with a saved alias..PILKYMAN.
That gets banned...tries again with a new one...banned again.

I think darkhorse was personally looking for Covers posters because if you read the thread that the boppsy twin started in their PB you will see that he referenced a thread from several months ago with hoopstar22.....
 
 
His alter ego over there has some how gotten the best of him....If you look at that thread darkorse started you can see that he somehow has a reputation of being the tattle teller.......Quite an enormous feat for such a little behemoth....

all I know is that if emails werent allowed in posts I would have never found the guy that is 93-1 in baseball and 78-2 in football.

Only two guys went apeshit, and all of us were boxed.

We were boxed because rules were violated, end of story.

The going apeshit led to the room being brought to the mods attention ...and some rule was broke about giving out E-mails.

I know what you are saying.

Here is the solution for next time.

1) You create an email addy just for a one time use:  weezyhatesMets@hotmail.com

2) put it on your spaces page so everyone can contact you at that addy

3) people send YOU the email contact info where they want to be contacted.

4) you distribute every ones information to all the email addresses provided.

As long as you guys don't give out anything unwanted, everyone maintains a clean email box.
