The new advertising on this site is getting scary. These random pop-ups occur pleading "DOWNLOAD ME NOW" and "CLICK HERE" without any explanation of where these downloads are originating from. I guess money will always trump security and good taste in a place like this.

Does the leadership team behind covers realize and recognize that loyalty to the brand from veteran, long-term users has taken a huge hit because of this SJP nonsense? I mean I understand that covers has to market itself... but I guess the question then becomes what is more important to covers -- people who are stupid enough to fall for the SJP ruse, or the long term users who sniff such bullshiat out in the mains, call her to the carpet, and then get boxed (or even "disappeared" like certain posters)? I guess I answered my own question really, but it does make me upset that covers will stand behind a clear attempt at deception of their hardcore, loyal audience with SJP and will protect the deception with vengeance.


This isn't an issue of "just ignore her threads" weebs -- I can't go freaking anywhere on the main page without having to see one of her articles. I think that, deep down, you probably know it is ridiculous as well, but I get it if you have to be a company man and can't give it to us straight.


I guess the question I will end with is simple: Does the Covers Team truly appreciate its long-term customers, or is the CT willing to ignore the long-term customers who have been here for years and, instead, continue try to reel in new fish with this bullshiat SJP facade? To me, given that you can't look at SJP cross-eyed without her threatening to have her mod friends send you to the box, I worry that I already know the answer.


Obviously no disrespect to you Weebs with this question (and, quite frankly, I suppose it would be directed to all of the team that runs this site), always found you to be forthcoming and respectful and would like to give the same back to you. Hopefully that comes across above.
