1500 is a lot for a 22 year old kid, his greed and stupidity lead him into this situation he's in, but this is the wrong place to ask for money,nobody here knows who you are, nobody is going to send money to you. Either talk to your bookie or ask family friends that know you for help. gl

Car title loans are a scam in themselves.  You'll pay over 200% juice to get your title back.  Put yourself in the books shoes for a second.  "The guys a prick for gambling and not being able to pay"..  Believe me kid, you're not the only one that owes him $.  IMO - At this point, you have no option but to tell him your parents are going to send you to rehab (in which he definitely won't get paid) if they catch you effing up.  Tell him your parents bailed you out last time and they are done with it.  It's pretty simple here:  Also, the sooner you tell your bookie, the less stressed out you'll be approaching Saturday.  Moving forward, if you're DA wants to gamble, go online where you have to make initial deposits and only wager 1% of your bankroll on every pick.  GL and you might want to tell your co-worker the same.

Hell I actually felt bad until he blamed the guy for hooking him up with the book haha!?! You guys know damn well a lot of bet more than we should, granted I’ve never not had the cash and would sell anything of value before smashing my pride haha. $1,500 is garbage to your guy, I have the feeling the middle guy at work is the one putting on the pressure, I don’t blame him. Everything can be taken from a man but their word and pride, you’re making him look bad. Since you owe so little either get a cash advance of some type or offer 2k if you can pay in payments. Your buddy will pay and your idiot tax is $500. Even if your credit isn’t great you can buy stuff with store credit to sell, Google “shopping cart trick” and there you go haha. If I bought credit :) I’d pay 25-50% depending on store so charge close. Hell go to your doctor and complain about your anxiety and adhd then have him send you to a pain doctor for that neck pain that gives you migraines haha. Open your mind and quit freaking, time to bend the law sunshine!

Another question is how did your book allow you to go up to a 1500 dollar limit. That's probably why your so scared you probably told him you would have it if you lost

Not to pile on, but can't help myself...

As many have said above, pay the bookie the $200 every 2 weeks. He'll take it. Better than paying usury Unfortunately, per your comments, your work buddy will find out and others in the office. 

I am curious though. It seems your tolerance to pay is $100 per week, and that is under duress. Why are you betting $500 per bet on the 2 losers last night and a dime on FSU last week vs. BC?

With your ability to pay, you should not be betting more than $25/$50 per game. I mean, you lose the 'hotshot' status at work, but it's probably better for everyone.

I do think it's charming that you said 'never again'. Did you tell your father that when he bailed you out previously?

I was in this situation not long ago, about 10 years ago. I acted like I had two testicles and talked to my book. I worked an extra shift and I did a payment plan. While the book no longer wanted my action, I was fine with that since it got me to stop gambling til I was making real money! You just have to man up and pay him in increments.

Step One:  Tell everyone what city you live in

Step Two:  Wait for one of us that is also local to get back to you

Step Three:  Gather up your valuables - watches, Ipads, Lap Tops and everything else of value to provide as adequate collateral.

I am sure one of the guys on here that bet $1,500 or more per game consider this "chump change" and would be happy to help you out.

If he had collateral to put up for loan. No response. This reeks of a scam. He wants someone to send him $1500 so he can buy video games or whatever losers spend their money on. He doesn't want advice or solutions. For all we know this dude is sitting in Nigeria somewhere working on one of many schemes
