powerade... have you noticed that whenever PIT plays there are a lot of shady calls (or no calls)? Usually they go in favor of PIT (almost always) but just an observation.

This game was fixed when the bookies made the line. I have always been a believer that games are fixed to bring in vegas money. Too bad too. Just another screw job in the NFL.

I feel the same way about these isolated games. Sunday and Monday nights.
EVERYBODY bets them - well everybody who "bets" bets them.
Think about it. Saturday there are games starting at many different times - money is spread on 55 + different games.
Sunday there are 10 1:00 games and 4 4:00 games. So that means there is plenty of opportunity to spread money around.
Sunday and Monday night there is ONE game.
ALL the money that is bet on Sunday and Monday night does not have a chance to get spread around.
People either take their winnings and decide to double them and go big (and at worse if they lose break even on the week, a lot of people think like that too) or they tally their losses and say "I have lost five games today, I am due. Let's go Pittsburgh!" And go double or nothing.
So basically the books can get a 100% return from one game if they "rig" it.
I understand I made a lot of assumptions, but the gist of the message is true.
It is kinda odd to me that generally the same teams and same refs end up on SNF and MNF.
There are a lot of shady things that tend to happen on Sunday and Monday night.

the calls always favor vegas no matter what. if vegas wants steelers to win they will, they wanted NO to win and thus our final score. not hard, this was a fix from the get-go. vegas got the public money once again.
