Police told me he talked to her and saw her ID

If he sent it over false pretenses it's certainly a crime.  "She" told him one thing, did another.  How seriously the police will take it depends on how many people contact them over her.

In these scam cases most people just keep quiet because they don't want to admit publicly that they were scammed. Now we just have to hope that they all come forward, and from what i remember at the time here at covers, A LOT of people defended her, which leads me to think many of them handed her money. We are now watching the Covers version of Titanic.

Also it appears that she is using the pictures of at least 3 other schoolmates from HS.
