Wow such kind words Uconn, thank you from the bottom of my lungs. I am not forgoing the game between Boston and the Bucks, for a few select unclassified reasons, I see a lot of guys are on the Celtics and I really am wavering that way, the line being +1 for the Celtics lets me know the linesmakers in all their self imposed superior thinking and mind mattering are expecting you all to take the home team Bucks, they know Boston has been far from a top flight team in the last 2 months, anyway if I were betting this game, which I am not, I would lay my dough on the Celtics as well. If I wasn't so sly and rigged and cagey, I too would have the gumption to bet the game, I am going a little stronger on my wager size this evening, I sent money to my friend in Vegas, he now makes my wagers at the sports book on the strip, but at least I narrowed it down to the Spurs-Nuggets and the Warriors-Clippers, time for my Saturday night out, with a few people from work, here in LA, they meet and talk about work even on the weekends, I will be home in time for the game, whichever one I choose, this is me wanting more than a red rose in the morning when I first wake up, I want the whole bushel!!!!!!!!!!! Sammy will strike again tonight, and if you ain't a believer then just sit back to the left, and lean out the window and watch me hover in mid air like a brilliant canary out to find true love.

The highs that us gamblers experience in following your plays and winning as you guide us along daily are so tremendous, so indescribable, just out of this world!! There is no other highs in this world that can come close to the highs we experience following you and winning

again, i don't want to come across as an asshole, but that is just crazy.  sammy has had some great wins, but there are dudes in here that chug along daily, seeking little attention, with really smart plays and reasoning.   i was just complimenting tomkarw (sp?) for the way he conducts himself.   i actually am really amused by sammy's writing, it's creative.  and the thing is, i remember when sirjohn would do daily threads that were reasonable and metered, with great quotes.  now he's a fluffer.

either way, best of luck sammy and sirjohn.  hope you win.

What Makes Sammy Run? (1941) is a novel by Budd Sculberg. It is a rags to riches story chronicling the rise and fall of Sammy Glick, a Jewishboy born in New York's Lower East Side who very early in his life makes up his mind to escape the ghetto and climb the ladder of success. It was later made into a long-running Broadway musical.

Isn't it simply absolutely amazing to see Covers version of a Broadway musical unfolding before our very eyes! FABULOUS!
