If anyone think Panthers win this SB, you guys are crazy. The 2nd black QB that beat Manning in 2013 season was none other than Russell Wilson, and probably the only one in Mannings career. Cam will be joining the other black QB' on the list making it to the Superbowl and not winning. BANK ON THESE WORDS. History tells us that when you the public has been banking on your team all season, you are bound to lose in the championship or playoff because of how Vegas lost so much money on you. You get your stats and go undefeated at home, but you can't win it all and win the superbowl.
New England found that out Green Bay found that out and so will Carolina.
History that the Panthers made this season. 1.Panthers home-field advantage throughout the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. 2. Breaking the 13–0 record previously shared with the 2009 New Orleans Saints and the aforementioned 2011 Packers. 3. Carolina started the season 14–0, not only setting franchise records for the best start and the longest single-season winning streak, but also posting the best start to a season by an NFC team in NFL history. 4. The Panthers joined the 1984 49ers, 1985 Bears (for which head coach Ron Rivera played as a linebacker), 1998 Vikings, 2004 Steelers, 2007 Patriots (who were a perfect 16–0 in the regular season), and the 2011 Packers as the only teams to accomplish this.
5.Carolina had their best regular season in franchise history, becoming the 7th team to win at least 15 regular season games since the league expanded to a 16 game schedule in 1978.
It's a trade off. You set records and not winning the SUPERBOWL. That's how gambling is.
BANK ON IT! RIDE THE BRONCOS because Mannings retirement will be his best celebration ever. Watch the Panthers go scoreless.... wait, you think they score so much that they won't get a score? exactly! When you are sooo hot, you get blown out unexpected. Just like previous SUPERBOWLS when Denver lost to seattle in 2013. Anyone thought that game was set up? was the year of Marijuana bowl/Pot bowl. Two states going undefeated at home.... because the NFL supported the legalization during this time.
GOOD LUCK PANTHER GUYS.

The thing that amazes me is everyone is saying Carolina blowout like when Seattle beat them. Lol. it's all PERCEPTION. People fall for this sheeit every week all year long. It's gonna be like the game last week blah blah blah. So dumb and they get waxed every time. I wouldn't be surprised to see Denver win 31-13. And peyton and company score heavy on this team when he hasn't been scoring much...
PERCEPTION. Look I could be wrong, but I have been winning for a long time once I figured all of "THIS" out. SUPERBOWL almost always ( NOT ALWAYS) but almost always has a story line that makes sense.. Let's not forget at the end of the day it's a BUSINESS ALL BUSINESS.

Peyton beat Tom Brady & the Champs and getting points and you say too much pathers love. Are you ok?
I'm one of the few in here that still here. Last year wasn't so good. This year was profitable. So far I hit all playoff teams on some big stacks. 2 parlays and I guess I'm more OK than last year.

2. The Panthers led the NFL in scoring this season. Teams to lead the NFL in scoring are 10-9 all-time in the Super Bowl. ( The Panthers led the NFL in turnover differential (-plus20), takeaways (39) and points off takeaways (148) this season. The Panthers have forced nine turnovers with 32 points off turnovers this postseason, both tops in the NFL) 3. Coach Ron Rivera has won the Super Bowl before -- as a linebacker for the 1985 Bears. He was also the defensive coordinator for the 2006 Bears, who lost to Peyton Manning in the Super Bowl that year.

1. Panthers never won a SB.

Look at #1 defense vs #1 offense. Either scoring or yards
Seattle beat Denver
Tampa Bay beat Oakland
I think there is 1 more can't remember
Now it's #1 defense yards vs #1 scoring points
If you look how Vic Beasley played vs Panthers in their only loss. Von Miller has to be that guy. Rushing OLB causing sacks and spying on Newton..
Denver can stop running game and hang with recievers. They just need a game plan to limit Cam scrambling ability.. Falcons play textbook defense that game. Broncos need to follow suit. Easy to sit here and say that as Seattle and Arizona couldn't do it but Carolina not being at home makes a huge difference.. Broncos actually played better on the road this season then at home..
Not sold on Carolina no matter how many people in this forum is on them..
There has been 3 better offenses than Carolina that lost in SB..
The Rams that lost Brady
1st Pats lost to Giants
And Broncos to Seahawks..
You will see in the first 2 drives who will win this game. If Denver cannot put pressure on Cam it's over.. but i just cannot see the end rushers not doing that.

I don't think the first 2 drives will summarize this game up, the play will determine by the last 2 quarters. IF Cam is behind in this game, they will fall behind. The first two drives will determine his foot works and limiting those openings. The same blueprint Denver used against Aaron Rodgers will be used against Cam.
In holding Rodgers to 77 passing yards in Denver’s 29-10 win Sunday night, the Broncos provided the blueprint for shutting down one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks. It’s a plan that will be hard to follow, of course, because few teams, if any, in the NFL can match Denver’s combination of a fast, powerful and deep pass rush with a pair of cornerbacks who can play man-to-man coverage for nearly an entire game.

Hate to shatter your white supremacist ego. But Payton is gonna lose to another black quarterback. As much as you want to believe it his whiteness alone isnt going to win the superbowl. And that's completely ignoring how good these teams are away from the QB position. Carolina's defense I think will be offended that noone is talking about them. And it's Carolina's defense that will win the game in my opinion.
By the way with the exception of the Patriots final play last year. Seattle would of won it again. I just believe the NFC is a way tougher conference than the AFC period. Especially when it comes to defenses.
Aside from the Patriots and Ravens NFC is 4-2 in last 6 years. Yes that stat includes black and white quarterbacks. But you probably worship tim tebow as the greatest quarterback to ever walk the face of the earth. But Cam sucks cause he won the heisman trophy won a college national championship and if he wins the Superbowl he'll be in rare company. But obviously Payton wont lose to nig--r quarterback. Cause if CAM wins the superbowl your head might explode.
This is where we put our money to the test and let the action roll. Skin of your color has always been an America thing. I'm not white or black and even I see it. I dont think Cam wins the Superbowl, he will be the FIRST BLACK QB to win a MVP award.
But welcome to my thread, just come back and say hello after the game.

I watched that Packers game from start to finish. Denver defensive front 7 gave Rodgers pressure all game..
They blitzed Rodgers on 3rd a long and forced him to take the underneath or crossing receiver short of the sticks or even incomplete.. and when they blitz they didn't overload one side they kept Rodgers in the pocket and very little room to scramble.
Rodgers is just as good a scrambling QB as Newton and they couldn't do anything.. DBs were all over the receivers.. and I have to agree the Packers receivers are better than Panthers current active WRs.. Olsen is the only threat.. just TJ Ward and a LB on him every down.. Even Denver nickle back can cover on an island..
Also I am sure Eli is with Peyton showing him what he saw during his 4 2nd half TD drives vs Panthers in that comeback that fell short..

Although GB has name brand WRs, I'd say they've looked less than impressive this season. The packers also have zero run game. And Rodgers and Newton when they take off running are nothing alike.
Trying to make some kind of comparison or assessment based off this seems like a reach.

Despite his significant improvement as a pocket passer, Cam remains a streaky playmaker when forced to rely strictly on his right arm to move the offense down the field. Newton completed just 59.8 percent of his passes during the regular season -- a very low figure for an elite passer in today's NFL. Newton remains prone to inaccurate throws based on his tendency to throw off his back foot.
Neutralizing Cam's effectiveness as a mobile playmaker on the edges.
The Broncos are better off with Newton slinging the ball around the yard.
The Broncos will increase their chances of winning by forcing the electric playmaker to be a one-dimensional player on Super Bowl Sunday.
Cam and Rodgers not alike you say??? They both make plays outside the pocket.

QBPR in the regular season
Cam 99.2
Manning 67.7
QBPR in playoffs
Cam 112.85
Manning 82.25
QBPR blows completion % away as a predictor of NFL games.

Claw, love ya bro but we heard the stats ALL WEEK LAST WEEK AGAINST THE PATS. Sometimes it's more than stats. It situations and perception that will rule this superbowl bud. Everyone is fixated on manning this year, Rightfully so but ever think it played out that way for a reason? The public is all over carolina, all over them. Why not! They were on fire in the playoffs and in the regular season. Their team is loud to say the least and they are very distasteful in their approach towards acting like professionals. It's two completely different attitudes and in a storyline like this the next week and a half, the public has chosen their side. I will say it again.....Public perception is a b@tch. The NFC game being the late one was on purpose. Running up the score against the cards was on purpose. It drive the line up and the National audience got to see cam and their "domination". In turn, the public is fixated on carolina. You need to stop looking at cam vs manning. This game will be won in the line of scrimmage and late it will be won with mannings arm. Watchmen good luck amigo. I'm bummed we aren't on the same side but these playoffs, it has worked out pretty well for me in that capping these playoffs has been more than just number crunching amigo. The Broncos' defense has not allowed a single rushing TD to a quarterback this season, including playoffs (1 of 2 teams to do so). Cam Newton is tied with Steve Young for the most rushing TDs by any QB in NFL history (43, regular season only). Can Superman break through that defense? - Don't think he'll get anywhere.

Have not seen Newton knocked down hard this year. I am banking on the Denver defense to earn some extra cash during the game. Similar to this epic speech.
