Game 1.....................Spurs shot 45.8%.....................OKC 42.3%.
Regular season.................OKC 47.1%
Playoffs..............................OKC 46.2%
Let the evidence show OKC shots did not fall in game 1 and they lost by 3 pts to a team that shot 75% in the 4th quarter.
A better question would be--- what happens when OKC shots DO fall ?
And at some point they will.............................................

I just think this is just a part of the "growing pains" period for the Thunder.
Just like long ago, Pistons finally had to get past Boston, then MJ had to get past the Pistons. The Thunder now know they can school the Lakers, but I never thought an "old" Spurs team would have a Last Kick like this, are you kidding? What's the current streak? 20 in a row? 30-2 L32? Anybody says they saw this coming is either a genius or an idiot (room for everybody here at Covers).
Are the Thunder a good team? Hell, they're a great team. Last Four standing proves it. They are young, have 6th man of the year, good young coach.
But, what do you hear about teams that win?
Pass the ball, don't turn it over.
Can you name the team that avg the most turnovers, and was last in assists? If you said Thunder, you'd be correct.
One thing that has to happen is Russell Westbrook-Russ, you ain't The Man. Durant is the man. You don't get the most shots, Durant does. Durant needs more than 3 shots in the 4th qtr, okay?
Book, just don't go crazy on us, and post a Thunder win 4 in a row if they go down 0-3. They say a series doesn't really start until a home team loses. So....................
This is nice young team that is going to break through next year in a 82-game schedule.

You truly are clueless. Anybody that watches and understands basketball can read the writing on the wall. The Spurs OWN this post-season and HELL NO the Heat won't have any answers either.
The Spurs have lost 4 games over the last 3 months and one of those the big 3 didn't even suit up.
Even the most hardcore Spurs haters today have thrown their hands in the air and conceded defeat, but you are still carrying the banner for anybody but them. Have fun on your Fantasy Island.
Wow.

Despite all the insults, this is a good thread.
Since a few have already jumped the gun and proclaimed MIA vs. SAS in the Finals, I'll just add to it that as long as SAS keep the turnovers down, they'll own the Heatles. Turn that ball over and they'll get run out of town. It's as simple as that when it comes to playing the Heat. Fortunately, SAS doesn't turn the ball over much.
Who knew limiting turnovers would lead to greater success? Shocking.
