North Dallas Forty:
"For there should be a

Do not try and tell me midget wrestling is staged. Those guys are only in it to win it. When you are 4 feet tall, money don't mean sh!t. Only victory. Closest thing to modern day Roman gladiators, I always say...

If what you said was true, you'd be able to point directly at something to prove it. You cant.
Listen assh@t, the burden of proof is on you. You're the one claiming something far-fetched, so you have a prove it, not us.
Proof, by the way, is not 'the defender didn't tackle the guy with the ball' or 'lots of games come down to the final minute' (or, what is really going on the heads of the tall babies who believe this stuff, 'i lost my bet').
It is impossible to prove a negative, this is a fundamental truth in logic. You don't know this because you have the mind of a 3-year-old. (I may perhaps have rounded up.)
Now, nobody cares if you believe something ridiculous to be true. I have no doubt that you believe in chemtrails, that the moon landing was faked, Sandy Hook didn't happen, etc. But, the adults around here are busy talking, so you need to run along. Maybe go read about how the coronavirus was created in a biological warfare lab or something.
Nobody around here values your input, so please get fvcked.

I already explained your failed burden of logic in one my previous posts in the previous page. Go back and read. Theres no burden on me because you dont even have a fact to support your own claim. You have belief, hope and group think. No facts. No evidence. In my quotes from pro athletes above, is a form of proof

There are quite a few nfl players that believe in rigged games. I believe they can't show evidence because they will lose their pension. Probably something in their contracts also.

Your comment has aged well, especially now that NFL coaches are coming forward and admitting they are being paid bonuses to throw games and lose on purpose.
Like you said, being paid to throw a game isn't illegal, because the government considers this crap "sports entertainment". That's why NFL has offensive and defensive "coordinators", who act as handlers for the league's negro slaves.
Players get in trouble if they ignore plays called by the league's offensive/defensive coordinators, who are mostly white. NFL players who "do whatever they want" and refuse to run yardage-losing plays can get suspended, fined, or even kicked off the team. The coaching staff would write "insubordination" on the player's termination slip.

Last year's Super Bowl was all the proof we need of how rigged professional sports is. Word got out that Roger Goodell wanted Matthew Stafford to win a ring, and, sure enough, with one minute left in the game, Goodell gave Stafford eight chances to score from the 8-yard-line. Up to that point, the game had been called honestly and fairly, but one bogus flag changed the outcome. Pro football is designed that way intentionally so the head office can control the outcome of certain games.
The Bengals actually won the Super Bowl, but nobody cares about the Bungles, and Joey hadn't been in the league long enough to get the nod. Stafford, meanwhile, had sacrificed his body for 11 years and had nothing to show for it, so Goodell served up some street justice and made sure Stafford finally won a ring.
I don't have a problem with Goodell helping Stafford, and I took Rams money line because I knew he was doing this, a bet that cashed only because of the politics of professional sports.
The worst-kept secret in sports is that professional sports leagues can have ANY PLAYOFF TEAM win the championship.

Point of this thread - Chic cardinals, stop ruining other threads and convos with your 'fixed' garbage. Current state of thread - Chic cardinals with his usual old shtick. Dude's forehead must have a silvery tint to it by now from all that Reynolds Wrap.
When you lose arguments, you start insulting. It's obvious I'm right

Meh, I don't think they don't have sympathy towards players.
These outcomes are decided years in advance.

All the players who signed contracts but DID NOT qualify for the pension are just by passing millions for a hot story by keeping quiet even though they are the players who really need cash now not the players who have made millions ... And now are not being compensated by the NFL.. The number of players who have played in the NFL and not qualified is HUGE.. But they just sit on the sideline silent... .... Contract done and over... no pension... but silent... ... SURE... Afraid of what ? Will be waiting for your uninformed reply.. In their pension........ IN their contract.. Actual physical evidence.. Read by agents and accountants and lawyers alike.. But nary a leak... The world you live in is very small.. In their pension...

Govt is corrupt, you still obey it. Your job liesto you every day, you still go to it for money.
Any player that said anything won't make millions. They'd be ostracized and vilified.
You really aren't thinking this through.
You answered your own question. Jock vs an army of lawyers and corrupt media. He'd lose.

Sorry chic your missing the point... Not talking about the players who have made millions and are on a pension... Talking about the marginal players (Huge numbers over the years ).. No contract... done with NFL.. no pension... Getting zero from the NFL.. NFL can not hurt them.. NADA... Why not one with a tell all book worth millions to a ex player who could probably use the cash... Not one ever...NADA.. Nfl has no recourse.. Had to sign a contract with script knowledge at some point.. But crickets.. PS full disclosure my nephews best man at his wedding ( local kid) who I used to wax on BB court when they were 10.. is one of those marginal players.. 3 years in NFL.. Minny and Giants.. Played with Moss and Plexaco..,,, injured knee just missed qualify for pension ( but does get disability for 100.000 per year from SS ).. He gets nada from NFL.. insurance..cash.. nothing.. Years ago joked with him about team mates getting together fixing games ... He laughed and said " Dude you have no idea these guys are a bunch of alpha males if just 4 of them want a pizza it takes an hour arguing over what to put on it " They ain't ever going to agree for any of them to take a dive.. Or listen to any instructions to do so.. PS his contracts had no such language..

Arguing over a pizza has nothing to do with knowing you don't get paid big money if you complain in the he NFL.
They know their biggest priority is being better than the other guy, to make th team and get paid. They really don't care about winning. If that mattered, everyone on browns and Detroit would have been gotten rid of in some way ,after their horrible no wins seasons.
You believe in some silly altruistic honesty that doesn't exist in a billion dollar industry.
