I've already said this in a few threads this morning, and as I see more and more fix-tarded posts, it obviously needs stating.
A lot of people aren't as good at sports betting as they think they are. A lot of you are basing picks off fade and trap theories that are complete hogwash. So your results are 'surprising' to you, because you didn't have the secret angle on a game you thought you did.
An even bigger number of people don't have the emotional maturity for wagering, so they feel cheated when they lose. Like a spoiled kid not getting his way.
Butthurt leads to suspicion. Suspicion leads to conspiracy invention. Conspiracy invention leads to arrogant douches believing they've uncovered a vast national network of corrupted leagues, books, referees, and ball boys.
And yet you fixtards still keep betting on it. That sums up the level of intelligence that led you to believe in rigged games in the first place.
The next great one is the old 'NO ONE wins at NFL, I'ts IMPOSSIBLE'. Just because you can't, doesn't mean others can't.
suuma, Nickel-Bets, Wizerguy, glyde, Phantom_Capper, estes1313 and many others seem to manage to win year in and year out. I know for a fact at least 3 of guys don't believe in trap bets, rigged games or fake lines. Just ask NB and suuma what they think of that stuff, haha.
Pay close attention to what people are saying when they offer up evidence of 'fixing'. Notice how much of the game they gloss over or 'forgive', how they much the leave out that actually cancels what they're saying. Look how many of them post their 'obvious predictions' before the end of the game that never pan out, and how much of their theory changes to match what happened, in hindsight.
Fixed games, trap games and sucker bets are all make-believe circle jerks that guys who bet more than they can emotionally handle losing say to make themselves feel better about random chance.

This is the biggest joke.. The refs actually had a conference about it and still took the TD off the board.. Norv Turner was screaming about it. When the game was practically over.. coaches are involved in this too.. its pathetic..
Wash St vs Col St 2013 Bowl game..
Wash st was up 45-30 with 4 mins left
Col st scored a TD to make it 45-37 with 2.5 mins
Wash St has a 1st down with 2 mins left and Col st has no time outs.. still too much time to take knees but they were snapping the ball with 15 secs left on the play clock and they ended up fumbling on 2nd down and Col st ended up scoring to tie. on the kick return Wash st fumbles the ball to give Col st and GWFG..
You tell me its unfortunate this happened..
2014 UCF vs East Carolina.. kidding me
This may have been dumb coaching but I still think it was fixed
East Carolina has the ball at the UCF 15 with 1:47 to play and UCF only has 1 timeout.. How do you lose? You lose 15 yards on 3rd and fourth down and give the ball back to opponent? You have 4th down with 16 seconds left at the 24 yard line and take a sack.. I wouldn't kick a FG but somehow milk that clock without having to take a sack..

I believe in fixed games. It obvious too.. I think more so with College tho..

To say a game is always fixed is silly. But to say there are never any trap games or sucker bets is being naive. It's the line's intention to confuse and trick sometimes.

How about Central Mich vs Western KY Bowl game.. The last TD with a million laterals was so illegal.. How can't the refs review it? what a joke it sad..

Manipulating the line any way they want doesn't require the game to be fixed...

Believing that games are not fixed is naive. If the NFL didnt share its total income across all teams instead of being separate income , Or if the refs were not gagged , or if the foundation of the first NFL teams were not started by bookies and gamblers ,Or maybe if the NFL was not registered as "entertainment" , Or even if a holding penalty on the offense was the same for defense .. Then maybe just maybe i would think that the NFL didnt "sway" the outcome of games to receive the best possible outcome as far as the best teams appearing in super bowls.
No the NFL does not rig games for the bookies or vegas because that small patatoes for them , the billions come from Ads on TV and ticket sales and merchandise . So the NFL "sways" the game to through the gagged refs who never fail to make at least 2 of the most outlandish calls per week. Backing up defenses 5 yards for holding our backing up offenses 10 yards for holding.
Alot of this stuff makes no sense and is all made up BS by the NFL, Golden tates TD ... Are you freaking kidding me ? , i bet against the lions and still couldnt believe it .
Here is a question iam going to ask you that i already know the answer to. Would you be more exited to watch a Jags VS Bucs superbowl or a Panthers VS Patriots superbowl ( as a football fan in general not a specific team fan ) . Which matchup are you more likely to go out and buy a few cases of bud light ( sponsored by the NFL ) call over some of your closest buddies and have a blast for 4 hours.
The whole grey cloud they put over what is a catch and whats not , the penalty yardage that is so obviously more penalizing for offenses plus all the other information ive stated would make you naive to think the NFL does not sway games for most public interest.

Miami vs. Duke this year anyone? That official crew got suspended for botching like 3 calls on that last drive. The whole Tim Donaghy scandal should of taught us one thing, everyone has a price.

Great post, dude. But no matter how much sense you make, people will think what they think, but after Minnesota scores a late garbage time TD to cover against Zona on TNF, or the refs blow a call that's borderline impossible to get right with multiple angles in slow mo in HD, let alone on the spot bang bang......and those "fixed" threads will be back.
I'm guessing that most of the fixed games and conspiracy stuff is MOSTLY from younger inexperienced bettors. I can't imagine anyone over the age of 30 who has 10-15 years of experience, especially with all the information available, would still think those things. At least I HOPE that's the case. Just young guys who bet every road favorite that's -3 or -7 on a card, and can't process the fact that half of them lost.
In college sports, more in the past than right now, I'm sure there were point shaving incidents. It might have even ran more rampant than we think. But today's sports world? Division 1? I just don't see it.

That's a huge issue right here. People watch the frame by frame and see garbage that is physically impossible to in the moment and all of a sudden the game is fixed. Refs are humans too haha
Most people just want to make themselves feel better because they made a bad/stupid bet and it's easier to blame the refs/call it fixed than it was their own biases or poor analysis.

lets be honest , know matter what gets said , 99% of people aren't going to change their mind one way or the other , people come on this site to reaffirm what they already believe , not to have their mind changed. To say that all games are "fixed" is probably foolish , and to say that no games are "fixed" is also probably foolish , all i can say is from my personal experience , is that too many strange things happen in certain games , to keep my head buried in the sand , since i have started taking "the fix" into my capping games , i have been quite successful. There is a book called THE FIX by declan hill , that i believe anyone who wagers on any sport should read
bol anyway you see it

nice one ^^^ ya it's silly to think money isn't everything. how about refs that arent fat, old, grey haired, glasses wearing douches. how about some fit athletes who are trained in that position. the refs arent even full time employees. they're lawyers and clowns with day jobs

So those guys lift weights, run gassers, watch film for hours on end,and go out and smack each other around like they are in a free for all just to get a check for a game that has a fixed result??Strange things do happen, college and pro, that leaves you shaking your head in disbelief, but these same strange things happen every Friday night all over America.I have coached high school football in football crazy Alabama for over 35 years, the last 15 as a DC,at one of the larger programs in our state.Coached in 34 playoff games and 4 state championship games.I work the vast majority of the time from the box.Once bet the entire coaching staff a kid could not hit the 2nd long field goal of the night from our 42.A 52 yard field goal. The back of the end zone was clear for about 10 yards then woods. That ball was still rising as it passed the post and the ball boys did not want to go into those woods to find it.The staff ate porterhouses the next night and had a lot of beer and cocktails. That kid went on to kick 4 years at UAB and got a shot with Miami. When you guys that are always crying fix can tell me what a b gap trap is or how to teach a kid to reach block on a zone read or how to adjust to a 2 tight with a wing when you are caught in a 4-2 nickel I will think you know a little football.Dallas did a great job with their line stunts and blitz packages last night which is coaching.Their game plan was to hang around till the 4th and try to win it.,The same thing Coach Dooley did at Georgia for over 20 years.

I used to laugh at people that screamed fix...now not so much after watching for 25 years....If you have access to it watch the Monday Night game a few weeks back when the Bengals lost to Houston...Tyler Eifert droped 3 bread basket catches (no defenders..no over the middle crunch (I hear tippy toes coming)..if he catches 2 of the 3 or maybe only 1 Bengals win...this Kid Eifert was clutch up to this and might be rookie of the year...that game smelled bad to me...just saying

Too be honest, these threads that pop up weekly are tiring. Especially those like this one here which resorts to calling everyone else who doesn't agree with the OP an idiot. Like you said, I have my mind made up, I really don't care what others think, it's their money they are burning. Like yourself, my profits have SOARED since I've taken the "sway" into account.
The people who fail to delineate coincidence/random occurrence from the same things that continuously happen week after week, game after game at a higher rate that should be expected AND always in the same game demographics (primtetime, high public concensus games), you have my condolences and sympathy. I was there in my early days for a good 5-6 years.
