I think in the first sentence he was quoting what everyone else is saying ab this game. Everyone is saying the game means nothing to ohio state just like everyone yesterday said that game meant nothing to Kentucky. Then in the meat of the write up, he states the truth that in fact this game is far from meaningless to ohio state. How could your last game vs MICHIGAN STATE & TOM IZZO be meaningless? I am an athlete, I played ball in college. Baseball not basketball but as a college student you are competitive, as an athlete you are competitive, you want to win EVERY damn game it does not matter what the circumstances are. For anyone to say these kids don't care ab this game they are stupid. Ohio state will be pumped for this game they will play there hearts out. Spotting them 7 here as well as MSU has been playing is ALOT. Buckeyes will compete on all levels. Idgaf if SB was on MSU I would still bet OSU.
