The standard recommendation though, from dozens of different internet sources including right here on covers.com and even specifically from notable forum members here, is 2-3%, and slightly higher than that for those experienced and skilled handicappers who have a documented history of positive winning bet percentages. In other words a documented consisted winner of for example 58% over several years is not going to dick around betting the same conservative percentages that a beginner would. Makes no sense. His chances of losing (surviving variance) is greatley reduced at those numbers so he can and should bet a higher percentage than the average bettor.

That's when I noticed several instances of CHEATING with his record PLUS his blatantly obvious "Martingale to forum glory" approach, where he begins the season caliming all his picks are worth 2 or 3 times what YOUR picks are on the same teams with the same lines, loses, then we see the Martingale creep in. Or if his bets aren't yet achieving his desired status of "Alpha male" of the forum, that is when the Martingale kicks into high gear so he can claw his way to the top of the hill.
I can say this factually because I have recorded everyone of his posted picks since September on a massive spreadsheet. I doubt anyone else has.
His pattern is clearly Martingale, in addition to starting it off claiming all picks worth more than anyone else on the identical same play.
Oh, and the man who claims to be an alleged experienced, highly skilled WINNING handicaper consistenly over time; an alleged senior citizen; an alleged veteran of two wars, behaves so undeniably immature and childish, as seen in this and at least 2 other threads, I am certain that outing him as a pretend-betting Martingale fraud that he clearly is doesn't sit well with him. So naturally out come the aliases he's built up on the forum over the years for just such an occasion to rush to defend him and attack the critics who have revealed the real truth.
