I don't care if someone is purple polka dots, has or doesn't have fillpoian tubes, and gets turned on by whatever image he wants, this country tries to be a free place (if you leave the major Corporations, the Defense Establishment, the CIA and FBI alone--and their cornered market in the drug trade).

I'd be willing to bet that Maddux is hurt. Or, now that the steroid brouhaha has come to a head, he's probably laying off the drugs and that's making him a less effective pitcher! Like Big Brown in The Belmont: no drugs, came in  last.

This is getting out of hand. Maybe some of you are right about "advertising" my preferences. I'll say this again - being gay isn't a choice. We're hardwired this way. Do you honestly think I'd choose, if I could, to be harassed, shunned, and sometimes beaten physically?

I have a son (straight) who is a 2nd year resident at Harvard Medical School and my daughter (also straight) who was a Rhodes scholar, then graduated from Smith College and is now pursuing her MBA from Sloan School of Business at MIT. I'm very blessed having these two young people in my life. Not once have they been embarrassed or humiliated by my choice - conversely; they've both maintained that if I'm happy, that's all that counts.

Oh, and once again, if you haven't read the posts from earlier, I'm black. This will allow you to not only make homophobe jokes, but you can tell your "N" jokes too.

I'll write my post later for the Boston/Tampa game. I'm taking Boston in this one -150

Seemingly. But, I am new to this.Also, I've noticed that many people post just their pick and not give a reason why. I say why because I'm hoping to stir something that'll spawn another point of view - like Tailer187 did earlier.
