You are taking my comments too literally and I've obviously struck a nerve with you.
This is a social media site. All websites are driven by web traffic. There are many people that get monetary compensation from the work they do on social media & websites, there is no "conspiracy" as you put it and to randomly throw "TRUMP" into your comment is extremely hypocritical coming from you.
Now if you are trying to add 1+1 and inferring I am talking about a specific username or a group of usernames then your "conspiracy" comment may hold weight. But I don't actually believe the algobotfarm army is paid by covers, that just sounds a little silly. Although that explanation would make much more sense if true, but I don't believe that.
Thank you America

No I got your comment, no nerve struck, if you had seen the stuff mods have gone through over the span of time this is nothing. I laugh at conspiracy talk especially when it comes to intentions in this forum and yet some really believe that and it gives ground for people like sundance to draw extremist conclusions.
Covers is not generating billions in income from the politics site, from any aspect of the forums and it is really a small tiny section of the larger organization. The purpose of the politics forum is because in the past when it was not used the junk used to float into the general section, into higher value sections where users are not wanting to see it so we keep a pretty tight control over not having politics anywhere but in that teeny section. No other conspiracy theories exist, the whole forum area is just for people to exchange information and enjoy the brand and a bit of business content but if you REALLY thought some of the things you wrote and even more extreme stuff other members say, I can say this with 100% certainty, there is NO way Covers would allow the garbage associated with politics and how MANY members behave like partisan extremists if it impacted business in a material way. They woulld shut it down and have a strong policy against it. The politics forum is likely the worst section of the forums and it really adds zero value to sports discussion, let alone that it brings out the gutter in how people think and interact.
Strike a nerve..lol its comical to be honest, members should feel fortunate the site allows it at all.

There are without a doubt strange User behavior here that points to circumstantial evidence.
Users who last 100-1000 posts are nothing more than . If you find a word your lucky, if you find a sentence your really lucky.
Users who put out picks week after week in almost every sport. Never give a negative thought. I see actual posters in CFB Forum saying "I'm getting burnt out, slowing down". Those are actual posters.
My favorite was a poster who last posted in 2010. Then last winter comes back and chats in one thread only, 86 times in 7 weeks. Never posted in any other thread during those 7 weeks. And that thread had very little traffic from other posters, not like it was a popular good one. And the Op of that thread posted in this thread.
