@bigred84
When you say head chef, you mean you were the one who defrosted that crap they pawn off as meat?
@Hugh_Jorgan
Yeah, Mexican food... what most Americans consider Mexican food, tacos, burritos, and such, it's one of those foods like pizza where even when it sucks, it's still pretty tasty. Even a chain Mexican spot will hit the spot sometimes. Truth be told, my homemade Mexican, again we're talking basic bitch Mexican, I'm not making menudo or some shit, but my homemade is kinda shitting on a lot of Mexican restaurants. I thinking of getting a vertical rotisserie so I can do al pastor. Then I could try my hand at schwarmas and doners.

@StumpTownStu
You got my mouth watering (after puking reading the post before yours)
When I lived up north there were some legit middle eastern restaurants. Lamb Schawarma was my go too.
Now I'm in FL, tough to find good food down here, particularly ethic food other than Mexican

That is upsetting. I'm sure it happens more now because people are generally more shitty these days. I don't think any of the ladies are jizzing in tacos at 2 Amigos. Not even the one dude but maybe. I could just see his wife looking at him like, "You sick bastard."

@melossinglet
For the 37,852 time I have no problem with anyone disagreeing with my opinion...
You seem awfully offended that covid is impacting the least vaccinated team in the league ...
Did you manage to find another team besides the BILLS that have had 3 players in the ICU ???

Yeah, that's the one thing about growing up in certain cities/regions/states it the access to other cultures, and their food. People are more spread now, and there is always some industrious entrepreneur opening a place but, for example, I can remember when you couldn't get good Mexican food outside of Cali, New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas. And the Tejanos had their own thing. It was a little different. Still, I never feel more pretentious, and we all know I can be pretentious, but I never feel more so than when correcting someone's pronunciation of pho.

eh,life is all about perspectives..you could be right in that it was purely done to instigate and agitate from his point of view,thats fair.
but regardless i think its important to refute certain things at this point in time in our world and any time you see something that is blatantly wrong or unfair,like alot of what we see going on right now in my opinion,i dont see any problem with making it known and not leaving it un-opposed.of course it normally does just degenerate to bickering and intolerance rather than discussion.but hopefully at least one person out there may see a new viewpoint or learn something from things that are brought up.most of it seems futile yeah,but you never know....could just be a fault on my part and "pissing into the wind" but its crucial right now more than ever to not just stay silent.but we all do have to do a better job of communicating things for sure.understatement of the century.
we dont have arbys down here..tell me about it.

That's some pretty good variety you have in WNY.
My 2 fav ethnic foods are Lebanese and Indian.
I miss NY for the food, that's for damn sure.
Although my dog and I went for a long walk on the beach a few hours ago here in FL, and that makes up for the crappy food down here.

I have never eaten at Arby's, and I'm confident that I will take that to my grave.
Honestly, other than McDonalds when I was a teenager, I have never eaten fast food.
Never had Taco Bell, Burger King, KFC, Subways, and again I'm confident that I never will.
My pallet is one of the benefits of having been raised by a mom who was born in Italy

I read only the last 2 pages, and I'm guessing this thread automatically got better since being boxed?
Indian food is pretty good, my personal fav is Thai though.

Isn't Niagara Falls absolutely disgusting in general? Not the fall themselves but the city. I plan on coming through Buffalo/Niagara Falls, etc. I feel like it's like northeastern Ohio, Western Penn Pittsburgh, etc. Kinda old, beat down, downtrodden, but cool too. Good people, high character. That's actually not true about NE Ohio at all. Those people are shitheads. The people in Buffalo seem tight. Californians are assholes so everybody is kinda cool compared to us. Except New Yorkers (Not you, Buffalo. Real New Yorkers.), and people from Boston and Philly. Mostly Philly. Boston is cool just fucking racist. All the different white people don't even like each other. Italians in Boston are like, "Fuck those fucking Pollock's!" It's a dope city though if you tap in with the right people. I guess any city is. Buffalo is on my list. Asheville, NC. Not a ton of major cities left I haven't been.

oh shi.t,that is highly impressive and extraordinarily rare in this modern environment...nowadays i am pretty similar,very rarely partake at those kind of franchises.but i definitely have done in the past..first 20 years of life fairly regularly.its definitely a part of life we can do without and its only laziness and the addictive nature that keeps us hooked.

Love Lebanese food ....Been hooked since I first tried at Amy's place on main street near ub 40 years ago ...
I'd gladly trade you a week of 34 and sleet/rain for your beach weather.....Florida isn't for me , but family members near st Pete would never move back up here( they barely visit ) ...( I send them Buffalo baskets for Christmas every year
( rooties blue cheese , Millers horseradish , Bocce pizza + wings ,Weber's mustard , Beef on wecks )

I dunno about the vaccine causing deaths. I have heard it but there could be other factors in place, just like with Covid. Most people that are dying have comorbidites. For the most part healthy people aren't dying from this. Another fact is plenty of people are vaccinated and still getting covid. Do you think all these people going into protocols aren't vaccinated? You don't hear them say anything about their statuses, because they know if they hear people are still getting it when vaccinated, the people who haven't been, will continue to not do it. Look at those cruise ships that have outbreaks on them with everyone required to be vaccinated.

there have been PLENTY AND PLENTY of people that have died in close time proximity to having gotten the injection,and many of them were healthy and/or young....now as to whether or not the injection "caused" death is yet to be proven.obviously we have to look at it on a case by case basis and have medical investigation/autopsies done..but when you have a common theme of heart inflammation and blood clotting showing up time and time again it starts to paint a picture and it would be weird NOT to be suspicious...clearly the injection is NOT formulated to start a chain reaction that is deadly or else it wouldnt be so rare to have anyone dying.but it is fair to say that the way it reacts with certain people appears on the surface to be highly dangerous and problematic.
and these are precisely the kind of issues that get sorted out in long term,rigorous trials and testing and why people have such a problem with an experimental drug.
