Square here - respect your analysis. There are others on this forum with great insight as well. I understand that you’re probably not ready to release a called shot on the SB (unless I missed it) but wondering what your thoughts are here - I see KC with the biggest difference-maker on the field by miles. I see their D as potentially better than SF’s. I will take an offense lead by Mahomes with his lower talent receivers than I would Purdy with the better receivers every day of the week. The line seems like a gift to me and I know that cannot be the case. I just don’t see SF beating the Chiefs. I don’t think a case can be made that SF owns a better O or D than KC nor coaching. Why am I likely with the public here thinking KC should be about a 3.5 favorite? Probably because I am a square but what am I missing that someone who can see things better is looking at? Thanks

Honestly, I don't want to be that guy that can lead you to as tray. I don't know how people can keep a good conscience in knowing that if someone tails you and lose, especially this is the final show where someone can bet their whole life savings on this game and if it doesn't win, they might end up losing their family or worst yet, jump off a bridge.
It's not like there is another game for recovering the money. This is it. Every year, there's another casualty to this world of gambling. I hate to be that guy that people tail for the lose.

This is shaping up to be a 2 unit or less play for me.
Meaning - this will be less than I had on the Vikings vs the Bears in week 7 (made up example).
I think the line is just about right - it comes down to matchups - but it should be a very close game with a couple of plays being the difference. I think it would be unlikely to be outside of 10 points either way, and very likely a 1 score game.
You make a good case to bet KC, so follow your gut and dont listen to some rando (me).

@nfl_brosuf If someone is dumb enough to do that, it is on that person and that person ONLY.
I understand but do you have a conscience?
If someone follows your pick and lose n go kill themselves, with the knowledge of you knowing that they kill themselves, how would that make you feel?
This is the last game and some folks go bigger than life on the last game. We are not talking about the healthy gamblers who go all in their season winning bankroll. I'm concern for those that are down chasing their lost from the wildcard n playoff games and now taking out a mortgage to get all of that back. If lose, what left is there?
If I post a pick, I'll also post a disclaimer as well.

It's worthy and critical to watch the above YouTube video from Kurt Warner.

First off. it's COMPLETELY on the person who tails. No one is forcing anyone to play what they play. Plus if someone is dumb enough to bet their whole life savings? Again, that's COMPLETELY on the person who does that. It's their money and no one is forcing them to bet stupid amounts of money. It's plain stupid to even suggest that someone posting picks should even remotely worry about if someone tails them and that person tailing loses. It's beyond stupid. People are responsible for their own actions, to suggest otherwise is ludicrous.
Worry about your money and your bets. What others do is not your concern nor your business
Histrionic personality disorder. It's sad

Ok, if you lose, I'll go kill myself.
You know I'm bluffing and I'm hoping no blood spill on your hands.
Just like Caesar washes his hands and claim his innocent that he has nothing to do with the prosecution of Jesus Christ.
On normal condition, what you say have merit. This thread is not a normal condition as it is calling out vanzack. The guy trusted vanzack enough to call him out. Is this normal behavior or mental illness? Perhaps I'm the one with the mental illness for having a concern?

You got to give the man credit for his discipline. That is why he is a consistent winner and the rest of us go in streaks. BOL vanzack. Really love your thoughts in soccer some day. I know you are a real football kind of man.

Wow, this post really took a weird turn. Not sure I've ever seen anyone combine sports betting on forum with suicide. By that logic, no one would ever be allowed to opine on any subject ever. Could you imagine if I said I really like peanut better and then someone ate peanut butter and died from an allergic reaction... not sure I could live with myself.

No, just try to get other people’s opinions who I respect from being on this board off and on for years. Van is one of those. I’ll probably bet $1k on the Chiefs. I can afford to lose that and not break a sweat. It won’t be fun, but it won’t hurt me. I don’t bet a lot of games throughout the season. Probably an average of one game a week college and NFL combined. Strictly recreational. $500 a week or so. I get that it would suck having everyone tail you though. I agree there

Dude, the OP clearly asked VZ what his thoughts were about the game. That's it. How you go from that to "VZ is his messiah" to "He's gonna mortgage his house and throw his whole life savings on whatever VZ says and then whack himself if he loses" is beyond irrational. Be honest, are you a woman?

There's no pressure when you realize the numbers are too good to beat. We don't bet teams but numbers. Some props can be had for the SB if you shop around and play them smartly.

And i suspect if the game was pulled during regular season, it might be a total pass for. I have never really got excited about betting the super bowl. Line is usually the tightest with no real edge, since odds makers only have to focus on 1 game. Its not like us bettors are gonna find some great edge that they just happened to over look. Maybe on some props, you might, maybe find something, but not point spread. To me its just another sunday to be lazy, sitting on the couch eating more then i should be eating lolll. Good luck Van
