This is the result of crybaby management, even when there is no personal attacks on any poster.  The fact that certain groups in society can not even be mentioned in conversations is alarming and absurd.  If emojis are insulting then why does the forum offer the option then?  If I say the words blue hair people with an emoji   Will that get me a stint in the box too??

I just wonder what slur you would use against people who don't like Trump? - "Smart people" are hardly a slur - btw I am a little split with this cause it is of course Covers site and decision how they want to moderate - but it would also be boring if we all agreed with each other and everyone with the "wrong" opinion was banned - then it just turns into a circle jerk

If you write homophobic slurs and a mod reads it you will either get boxed or banned, this event it was a trip to the box.

I dont see the value in degrading people to try and make a point or to elevate a sloppy argument, you wrote it and so you have to own it.

It wasn't a slur at all, but i know you perceived it that way.  So to be clear, if an emoji is posted after a mention of a certain group that now is flagged as a slur?   It was a description of a job title that had a mouthful of words in it with a funny emoji.

I know you are triggered towards certain posters even though you claim to not have a bias, and its not surprising its just petty

This really is biased moderation, and it's getting out of hand. That emoji has been used in that way on this site for over 20 years. It has never been a problem. It wasn't even directed at a member.

 In my case I insulted no one. I simply called out the NFL for being what it is. However, I didn’t realize until reading your guidelines that criticizing a sports league that has a direct partnership with gambling was taboo. 

I sincerely apologize to all the NFL bootlickers I may have offended.
