Weed The North - Season Long Raptors Thread

This will be a season long thread tracking my team for fun...these are not official wagers...those will be reserved for another thread.

Refs were determined in the final 3 minutes to get Cleveland the cover...anyone watching the end to that game cannot deny all the highly suspect fouls called on the Raps giving the Cavs all those fts to stay within the number...it will likely become quite a trend to take Raps 1h at home, we shall see...something to note: without Derozan now, the Raps are not going to get to the line nearly as much as they did before...Leonard is not as much of a drive to the hoop guy as DD is, but Leonard is a much better 3 point shooter...should be interesting how this all impacts totals...i think the Raps could easily average 110pts a game this year, and their D can always be better with the size and talent on this team now to dig in at the defensive end...my gut says when they play better teams as the season goes on, their defensive intensity will be there and the under will be the better play...but taking unders with the Raps will be very sweaty, as they can also shoot the 3 very well and in volume.

Boston/Toronto...game #2:

Raps -2.5 and Under 209...this should be a very entertaining game with high intensity between the two legit teams which will most likely meet in the semis with the winner getting the honors to get whooped by the warriors in a gentlemens sweep in 5 games...I think defense early on will reign supreme leading to a possible 40-45pt 1st Q, which will set the tone for the rest of the game to remain under the number.

These plays are just for fun...not official people's champ  locked in wagers.

I'm just tracking the Raps closer than usual this year...will use this space like a memo pad to reflect back as the season goes on.

Call it my tunnel vision on the team I grew up on...finally with a legit chance to get to the finals without any drama from Lebron

I do indeed have Raps +800 to win the east...I got ontop of that the minute local reports were breaking the Leonard signing ...i'm not too interested in the division race...coin flip either will be 1-2

If i was wise tonight the under 1Q was the only play worth taking...Raps are super deep and will always be a dangerous team in the 4th Q

True in hindsight...season just getting started indeed, but the Raps looking mighty strong to open up 3 games in 4 nights...the old Raps could have easily blown that 4th Q late...VanFleet is so money and i doubt anyone truly knows who he is other than a few of us

pack im liking the over tonight - Charlotte plays SUPER fast and jacks up 3's like they're Golden State... With a rested Leonard, what do you think?
