God literally has it out for me when it comes to gambling, i honestly cant win a game if my life depended on it.... Braves, guy on second, no outs, cant score, lose it in the 8th, white sox tonight. blue jays tonight, marlins last night, its a damn joke, A;s last night, the angels the night before that, its crazy, i owe the bookie more than i can afford, im so screwed... no clue what to do... sorry need to vent... fml for real though

I hear you bud, was on tigers – Braves parlay earlier today, and then was on Rockies – Blue Jays parlay to win $310 which I thought was all but a win, and then the usual crap of all crap happens, that never seems to happen unless I bet on that team that has the melt down of the century.  It is starting to get real old and you're right, maybe a sign

bet on only one game a day and study that game before pulling the trigger. get on a good streak, betting only one game a day then move up to two and so on. i notice too many people betting multiple games.

Take it from someone who's been there, try not to beat yourself up about it too much.  Put on your favorite tunes or movie, find another hobby to immerse yourself in for now, think about the pretty girl you want to lay....anything but letting this eat you up inside.  Put on some Bob Marley

The worst part of your situation is the exact moment you're in right now.  You can most likely set up a payment plan with the bookie...it's all gonna be good.

making bets on a credit line OR borrowing money to place bets is the worst thing a bettor can do to himself

The Rockies were getting no-hit for 6 innings, and win the game. If you were on the Padres, you would be saying..."They were no hitting the Rockies for 6 innings and lost!"

Being Canadian my bookie days thankfully are long long gone.Hopefully your guy is like my local used to be years ago and is a descent guy who just wants his money.I was in your exact situation about ten years ago,talked to my guy and set up a payment plan.My guy gave me 6 weeks but wanted something at least every Tuesday.It all worked out for me hopefully it does for you.Good luck!

The last 4 seasons for me in any sports, I posted my plays and lost my bankroll fast so I quit the whole season and make a new bankroll for next season.  

Only play what you can afford to lose as leisure money.  Make sure you take that pay check and feed your kids first.  Nothing more horrifying than to take your kid's milk money and you blow it on gambling.  

Hope everything works well for you and if you want a method to win, either find someone who can't crap for chit like myself and fade or find someone who is on a hot run and start tailing.  Best advice I can give for those who wants to just bet it and forget about it.  It makes no sense if you can cap for hours and hours and can write up a big story but still loses you know?  Never more for me.  I had my days.   Get well soon buddy.

I appreciate all the advice and kind words guys.. im down2k and with being a college student that is simply more than i can afford to lose... my bankroll is only 500... should i just try betting a grand on two games and try getting back to even or what?

bet small on single games .....trying to get it all back in one shot spells disaster imo

If you've already lost more than you can afford to lose, betting more money is the last thing you should do.  I lost 2k in college just like you...I chased it until I was down 3k before I got the message. 

Even if you do bet 1k on a couple games and win them, that's a bad thing too.  You'll think you can win 1k on games consistently and you'll keep betting big until you're in an even deeper hole next time.
