Why did I get put in rehab?

Covers rehab? Maybe a mod can explain it. I had my NFL game of the year today on the Jags and couldn't create a thread. It appears I got banned for about 24 hours.

The only thing I can think of is yesterday I teased buffer a little bit in his thread about Uconn, but I don't think it was anything bad, and I actually said I agreed with the pick and wrote out why I thought it was a good play (and it was, they were up double digits, blew the lead but still covered the +4, losing when they got the extra point blocked)

Buffer if you thought I was cyberbullying or something I do apologize, congratulations on the win. I don't see how what I said is any worse than when you asked another user if they wanted 12 inches of cock in the same thread

Again, I feel like that was still good natured enough, I was on the same side after all and trying to hype us up. Way more hateful stuff has been posted on here. Buffer's hot takes are often given a ribbing, I really did not mean any offense. I'm just kinda surprised and would like to know where the line is, and where I crossed it. So I can know for the future.

 Do they ever explain why? I checked my inbox i don't see any new messages in there (though I'm not sure it works right, it says (99) next to inbox when I'm in the menu then when i actually go into it, it says 0% full and there's nothing from the past weekend in it

 Those "lines" are very muddled. Some guy named Sammi out there soliciting donations to his CashApp yet there was another guy ASmith14 who got banned for the exact same thing. But Sammi continues to post and solicit. Makes absolutely no sense. I've read your threads, you're one of the good people on here, respectful.

 Cheers. I can definitely be a right cheeky bollocks and a bit of a smart arse but it's a site where we're all debating opinions and trying to predict things and be clever, that's the nature of the beast. I'm Irish, we tease because we love!

I just think they should at least say what you did. It's a bit draconian to just hand out bans with no explanation. I mean after all, it's the posters who create all the content on here and contribute to the traffic of the site. I can understand just booting spammers and bots and stuff like that like that guy you said soliciting. Teasing buffer about his hot takes is kind of a tradition around here, but we still love the guy and I definitely didn't mean any harm

I didn't actually. If you read the thread you see what happened was the censor was triggered by a shortening of the name for the QB for Uconn.

His name is Joey Fagnano, and as Italian guys tend to do, he's been given the nickname of Joey (the first three letters of his last name plus the letter S). He was referred to as such on a podcast relating to Uconn Sports. If it bothers him I doubt they would use it on a campus podcast. And where I live that is a slang term that means cigarettes. I wouldn't use that word in 2023 as an insult towards anyone.

Whoops I accidentally wrote the word again, I edited it out now but I'll probably get auto-banned again now. Whatever. Screw this.
